5 years later...

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you" Blue opened her eyes as she saw all of her love ones was there singing her 'Happy Birthday', she turns 5 today and she was beyond excited to celebrate it

She smiled as she sat into her bed facing everybody as Mal was beside her

"Make a wish princess" Mal said to her daughter as they finished singing. The little girl closed her eyes and made a wish before blowing her candles

Everyone cheered as she blew it "Now, let's go eat breakfast shall we?" Mal asked as they all went to get breakfast

Today they had prepared all of Blue's favorite food and later on they're going to have a little birthday party for the little girl. As they finished eating breakfast Mal had dropped off her daughter to Preschool

As school was done Blue and her friend Hayley was playing with dolls but then Hayley got bored and asked to play a new game

"Let's play house" Blue suggested

"Okay, I'll be the Mommy" Hayley said

"And I'll be Grandpa" Blue said as Hayley looked at her friend weird. If Hayley and Blue had anything similar other than their age and gender, they both have 2 mothers

"Grandpa? You should be the Momma, the other mommy" Blue then suddenly became sad

"I don't know how to be the Momma"

"Why not?" Hayley asked

"I don't have a momma" Blue answered with a sad face

"You should get one, Momma's are fun" Hayley said "Mommas use fabric softener on your pajamas" She continued

Blue smiled "My mommy does that"

"Mommas always have good candy on their purse"

"My mommy always have her enchanted book in her hands"

"Mommas smell nice and wears pretty dresses" Hayley, again said

"You got me there" Blue said as her smile fades

"It's too bad you don't have a momma, you're missing something good" Blue sighed sadly

"Yeah, you're right. I need a momma" She said as they then both continued playing

Mal and the others on the other hand were at the ballroom at Ben's castle preparing for Blue's birthday party whilst Carlos went to check on the 2 girls

"Okay, so you guys are all ready?" Mal asked as she double checks everything

"Ready" Celia yelled as they all hushed her, minutes later they heard someone coming in and then the door opened

"Surprise" They all yelled as Blue giggled and squealed

"Happy birthday Princess" Everyone greeted as Blue smiled and thanked all of them as they start the party.

They played games, ate and also sang and dance. It was definitely a very Evie-ish kind of party where everyone was having fun, but one thing though-no matter how fun the party was the birthday girl was kind of out of it and is very distracted and everyone had noticed it. So when the party was done Mal and the others stayed while Blue went to the playground while Hayley had already left

"Mal" Jay called her best friend for the 5th time, the dragon was deep in her thoughts

"Mal" All of her friend yelled as Mal jolts up pulling her out of her daze, she turned to all of her friends as they all looked at her confused

"I'm sorry. I'm just tired" She reasoned out

Uma shake her head, she knew Mal too well

"Are you sure?" Uma asked as she stared at her friend, Mal sighed closing her eyes before answering

"It's just distracting how Blue was not acting like her very hyper self" Mal said as Carlos sighed

"Mal, I heard her and Hayley talking. They were talking about mommy and momma" Mal stared at Carlos

"They were both comparing about what Momma's do and what was the differences of mommy and momma. Hayley then had told Blue about having momma's who wore pretty dresses" Everyone then felt sorry about the little girl

"I'm going to talk to her" Mal said as she head out. She went straight to the playground and saw her little daughter there sitting on the bench, she sighed and carefully approached her

"Hey li'l munchkin" Blue looked up to her mom and smiled, Mal sighed and sat beside her daughter "Carlos told me everything" Blue turned to her mother with a sad face

"Why don't I have a momma?" Blue asked sadly as Mal placed her daughter on to her lap hugging her

"You do have a momma, princess. She's just not with us" Mal reasoned out "Remember I told you, when you were very little she got into an accident" Mal said trying her best not to cry

"Where do you think is she?" Blue asked as she stared at her mother, Mal just smiled looking at her daughter

"I don't know sweetheart but I sure do hope she's all fine" Mal said

They sat there for hours savoring the silence. As the moon was full risen up Mal had decided it was time to go home. She carried a sleeping Blue in her arms as she walked her way into her house. As she got to her home she had went straight to Blue's bedroom and changed her, making sure she doesn't wake up

As it was all done she went downstairs on the kitchen and made herself a coffee as her 2 brothers sat in the sofa at the living room watching the news.

Breaking news: 7 missing passengers from flight 487 has been found dead years after the plane had crashed

Jay had quickly turned the tv off as Mal sighed and dropped the spoon. She sat between her brothers tears formed in her eyes.

"It's been 5 years" She sighed as she look down letting her tears escape her eyes

Jay and Carlos shared a glance as they sighed and comforted Mal

"M, don't lose hope. We will find her" Carlos said as Jay agreed

"Yeah, there's still lot of missing passengers" Jay said as Mal looked up and shake her head, she wiped her tears with her hands

"It's been 5 years Carlos, Jay hundreds of passengers had been found but none of them was her. There's still 58 passengers but I highly doubt one of them was her" She mumbled

After minutes of crying Mal's phone rang. She stood up answering the phone call

"Hello?"

"....."

Mal nodded "Yes, this is her"

"I would be honored" Mal said as she smiled
