As they were done in the park Ava had decided that she would drive as they head to their final destination. Mal was staring at the car window when she saw the sign that said 'Strawberry Farm', she shrieked as Ava stepped on the breaks, clearly startled
"Mal, is there something wrong?" ava frantically asked as she looked at mal with worried face, the girl was so distracted so ava looked at where she was staring and saw the sign
"Is that for real a STRAWBERRY FARM??!!?!" mal asked turning to ava
"Yepp" ava shrugged as mal squealed and hugged ava
"I made my decision, I'm staying on this town" mal squealed as ava laughed
"Damnit, it's closed" mal whined as she huffed
"Do you wanna go inside?" ava asked
"But it's closed" mal pouted, she knew she was acting like a child who lost her binkie but she doesn't care. This was worse than losing a binkie
"Come one let's go" ava said holding mal's hand dragging her out of the car making sure Blue was with them
"Hi there" ava greeted the guards
"Oh, Ms. Perez, Hi. What brings you here?" the owner greeted as he came into the view
"Hi, Mr. Hostman. I was just wondering if me and my friend can visit your farm. She and her daughter are just having a little vacation and was dying to see your farm but it's closed" Mr. Hostman smiled
"Sure, you know you can visit the farm anytime.... and if you want you can get strawberries too" mal was impressed as ava thanked the owner
As they got they got into the farm mal had taken lots of the strawberries and also her daughter, they had also picked out some strawberries that mal would take home
After the strawberry picking mal started munching the strawberries as ava laughed while taking some photos, she find it amusing how mal hogged the strawberries and wouldn't care if someone is watching her at the moment
"I didn't know you had a thing for strawberries" ava laughed as mal just continue eating some strawberry
"I mean, who doesn't love strawberries?" mal squeaked as she gave Blue some
"I would say I do but I'm beyond scared to face your wrath" ava said teasingly as mal chuckled
As they were done in the strawberry farm they then continued driving to there final destination. As they arrived to their final destination which thanks to mal they got lost for good 30 minutes
As soon as they got out of the car Ava closed her eyes and inhaled the wonderful smell of the lake. Mal and Blue did the same too, inhaling the wonderful smell of the nature
Ava turned to the two and smiled at them as the mother and daughter stared at the lake "This is Hyperion Lake, also known as the love lake" ava said
"Love lake?, why is it called love lake miss ava?" Blue asked curiously, ava kneeled down to her as she answered "Because everyone who comes to this lake even if they were broken hearted or whatever they are feeling~ they find their destiny after visiting this lake or they just meet their soulmate right at this place"
"Is it proven?" mal asked as ava stand up "Yep, a hundred-percent"
"Really?" mal asked as ava chuckled at her
"Yes, I know that because this is where my friend and her husband met and also this is where I also found a light at my down moments" ava said sweetly

"And it's not just that, it's also a good spot when you wanna see the northern lights or if you wanna do star gazing" ava said as Blue grinned
"Oh so that's why you picked this lake as our final destination so we could do star gazing?" mal asked
"Yes, and not just there's northern lights today and I want you guys to experience it" ava smiled sweetly making mal also smile
"Okay, but wouldn't it be better if we did prepared" mal reasoned
"Oh yeah, I came prepared" ava said as she lead them into a spot where she prepared a picnic blanket, some foods, and a s'mores maker and lastly a barbeque griller
"Ta da" ava said sheepishly
"You really are prepared" mal said teasingly as ava laughed
"Come on let's go and enjoy" ava said as she pulled the 2 into the spot
They were at peace, the 3 of them were contented- and mal in a long time had been feeling whole again
An hour had passed the northern lights had started and Blue was in awe, she sat in the middle of the 2 and feeling like her family was complete
"This is beautiful" mal said as ava turned to her and smile
"Yeah, it is" she agreed as she turn to look at the sky again

"Maybe I should totally live here" mal joked
"That would be fine but I do believe that you have friends or family that you left on Auradon" ava said "You know maybe if I plan to go on vacation on Auradon, would you tour me around?"
Mal nodded "I would gladly show you around and introduce you to my friends and family" 'Even though you already know them, you just forgot' mal thought
After the whole tour was done they had decided to go home, with mal insisting to drive ava home just to make sure she gets home safely
As ava got to her apartment she had a smile on her face, she didn't want to admit it but she was falling for mal even if she was only having a vacation on the small town. She get her phone and started sending mal the pictures they took and smiled very wide when she saw their groufie: It was them on the lake while the northern lights were on display, she was holding the camera and mal was carrying Blue, they looked like a family. This day for ava was yet the best day
Mal on the other hand was staring at the pictures. as she saw their groufie on the lake she had put it as her new wallpaper, she was now drawing and Blue had already fallen asleep. She smiled at satisfactory when she was done at the new painting. It was her, ava and Blue at the love lake having fun like a small inseparable family.
