Angel's End

Chapter 7

I helped Rex with his wound, while we waited for Ahsoka to wake up.

"Uh...Sir, I still don't understand."

"Maybe we can get more answers when she wakes up."

"Okay." he said, looking confused. I could tell he was thinking.

"Dang, I'm tired..."

I fell asleep for a few minutes, then I woke up to my padawan standing over me, with her blades ignited.

"DIE!" she screamed

Just then, a stun blast came from behind her. It was Rex!

"I thought you said she'd be good again!"

"Well, I guess I was wrong. Comm Kenobi and tell him we'll be here a little while longer."

"Yes Sir."

I sat over Ahsoka, using all my strength to send her good rays through the force.

"M-master..?"

"Ahsoka!" I said, pulling her into a hug.

"Maul? Where's Maul! I have to go kill that sepratist scum!"

"Woah, hold on Snips."

"Wait, wasn't I in that guy's ship- Anakin, how did I get here?"

"Long story short, Maul took you pris-"

"Sorry to cut you off Sir, but there are loads of droids coming our way." Rex said.

"Are you open to busting open some clankers?" I said, smiling while looking at Ahsoka.

There was no response for her, she just sat on the ground, looking very worried.

"It's back, help me!"

Her eyes turned black, and the darkness around her eyes were starting to re-appear.

"Should I stun her again, sir?" said Rex.

"No, just leave her."

I was interrupted by the clanking of the droids.

"Work's finished here." I said, while cutting the last hopeless droid.

"Not yet." said a voice behind me.

"Snap out of it Snips!" I said, turning around.

"You are coming with me!" she said

"Why?"

"Because my Master wants to see you."

"You're...Master?" I said, looking at Rex. "Is that Maul?"

"No! Somebody much more powerful than Maul!"

Rex and I exchanged looks, then he finally blurted out, "We surrender!"

"Good." she said. "Now come with me. Oh! And weapons please?"

I rolled my eyes as I handed her my lightsaber

"You're too- Captain?"

The darkness around her eyes was fading.

"She's back." I said.

"Master, it seems to be that myself and somebody else are battling each other, inside of my head." she said, looking a little puzzled.

"How do we stop it then?"

"I'm under the influence of this sith lord...we have to knock him out. Then, his grip will be loosened from me, and I will have to do the rest myself."

"Are you sure this is going to work?"

"I hope it does, because if it doesn't...I don't know what I'm going to do."

"Let's go kill that sith."

Ahsoka led us to a room at the top floor.

"He's in there."

"Well, let's go get him."

We entered the room, and I gave Ahsoka a reassuring look.

"Well Master, I have captured Skywalker, like you asked me too."

"Nice job young one, but it takes more than a lie to fool me."

Her eyes widened, as if she knew what was coming.

The sith lord then raised his hands and shot out sith lightning.

"No, stop!" I screamed. "What do you want from us!"

"I want you! And the only way I could have you, is through her! Now join her, and together you both will rule the galaxy!"

"And if I don't?"

"She dies."

"Well, I choose...neither." I said, lunging towards him while igniting my lightsaber.

He had stopped zapping Ahsoka, and put all his focus on me.

"You are a very smart Skywalker, but your eyes deceive you. I am not who you think I am."

"Oh yeah? And who are you then?" I said, while dodging his red blade.

"That is yet to be revealed." he said, while swinging at me once more.

I blocked his attack with my blade, he was starting to overpower me.
