(...)... Ugh! I can't believe it, I have to wear glasses now! It doesn't help that I'm suffering from hyperopia! (Long-sightedness).

I had to read documents or any form of texts by holding it far away from my face. It was... embarrassing, to say the least.

At first, I opted for contact lenses, but then they were a pain to put on each time. In the end, I had no choice but to make a pair of glasses for myself. I chose a dark brown, semi-rimless frame to accentuate my emerald eyes, it's sophisticated and lightweight too.

It was irritating! It fogs up when I drink or eat something hot, it leaves a mark at the bridge of my nose, sometimes it gives me headaches. It gets heavier over time and I need to push it back up often.

It sometimes gets in the way when I give my (y/n) her regular, mandatory kisses and hugs. Moreover, I frequently misplaced them!

My (y/n) won't stop laughing at me for having 'old-man-eyes' and 'old-man memory". Let's see how she'll handle it when she grows older. We will see who's laughing then!
