I was sitting at my favorite corner at Starbucks when she sat on the chair accross me. I looked at her surprised. I looked around and saw her bodyguards and mine sitting three tables away from us. I was so surprised I did not know what to say.
She's wearing a green dress. Her hair down. I saw red nails peeping out of her Birkenstock sandals. She looks tired. At the corner of my eyes I saw our guards watching us.
"Hi."
"Hi Congresswoman. You look tired."
"I am. Sino kasama mo?"
"Sila. Wala naman akong girlfriend eh." I said under my breath para hindi nila marinig in case nag i eaves drop ang mga loko. " Ikaw?"
" Sila din...wala pa din naman pinagbago eh"
" Wala pa ding boyfriend?"
" Wala. Siyempre ikaw ang unang makakalaam in case meron."
" Really? Ako? Bakit?"
" Siyempre baka pag lumapit ako bigla mo ako halikan."
" Hindi naman kita hinalikan now ah. Gusto mo ba?"
She hit me in the arm
"Ano ka! Bruho ka talaga."
"So wala ka pa ding boyfriend. Wala din akong girlfriend,gusto mo tayo na lang?"
" Lahat biro sa iyo."
" Hindi ah. I was thinking pwede namang ienjoy na lang natin tong relationship natin. Kung ano meron tayo, para mag distress."
" Hindi mo ba naisip na pwede din tayong ma stress kung ituloy natin?"
" Stress? Bakit naman?"
" Baka mainlove ako sa iyo tapos ma stress ako kakaisip na in love ako tapos ikaw hindi kaya stressing yun?"
" Paranoid ka lang. Pang ilan na ba akong boyfriend mo?"
" First."
" First din naman kita."
" Sus! Ikaw pa"
" Okay sige, I date dgirls before pero not once did I get into a relationship. Minsan may niligawan ako, basted ako. Inlove ako sa kany. Sobra. Pero ayun pinaasa lang ako."
" Ikaw? Basted? Bakit?"
" May mahal na iba eh."
" Kailaan ka pala pupunta ng Manila?"
" Wala pa. Pero kung gusto mo akong pumunta, pupunta ako."
" Pupunta ka sa Manila for me?"
" Oo. Girlfriend kita eh."
And i looked deep in her eyes.
Doubts!
Confusion!
Unhappy!
Lost!
All reflected in her eyes.
