YEONA'S POV
I grabbed my coat and went down the stairs after texting Hyunjin to meet because the first snow had fallen, and then I saw Minho on the stairs.
"Are you going out?" he asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"Where are you going in this cold weather? The first snow has just fallen," he questioned.
"Exactly! I'll be meeting with Hyunjin. Bye!" I exclaimed as I dashed down the stairs.
I hurried from my home to the bench outside the convenience store. After ten minutes, I arrived. I inhaled deeply and started to scan the area. There was nobody nearby, and the only thing illuminating the night were the street lights.
I waited for Hyunjin while sitting on the bench. I arrived first because our home was closer to this location than Hyunjin's. I hummed in delight and swung my feet. Later, I noticed a figure in the shadows coming my way. Since I couldn't clearly see the person, I initially believed it to be Hyunjin, but the individual appeared to be taller.
As he got closer to me, the streetlight revealed his shape. He was dressed in a black hat, a white face mask, and black pants. I couldn't see much of his shirt or face because he was directly in front of the light. As soon as he stood in front of me, he came to a halt and looked at me.
"May I ask for directions?" he requested.
"Sure," I replied, and he told me where he was looking.
I turned away from him as I pointed out the path he needed to take, and then I heard a glass break, as if something had fallen.
I noticed a little vial sliding towards me at my feet as the man reached for it while holding a white towel. It was a drug, I realized all of a sudden.
He caught the bottle, and as he did, I abruptly stood up. He then slowly turned to face me. He started after me, so I started running. Hyunjin came up in my mind as I reached for my phone to call him, but I was unable to fight him off as he pushed the cloth into my face. I dropped my phone slowly and started to feel sleepy, and suddenly my eyesight went completely dark.

I gently opened my eyes as I experienced head discomfort and vertigo. I shook my head to clear my cloudy vision, and as I did so, I gradually got my vision back. I spun around and saw that I was bound by a thick chain that was fastened to the wall. I tried to force my hands through it, but I was unable. It was a basic chamber made of cement, when I turned to look. The wall appeared old and had only one door, which was on my far right, and a very bright florescent light in the center of the ceiling. It also had no windows. The only sound I could hear was my breathing.I yelled for help, but no one answered. I looked down, scared and puzzled. The door swung open, revealing a man in a plain white mask. I don't believe it was the same person because this one had a larger body.
"Who are you, and what do you want from me?" I started asking questions. He knelt down to my level and looked me in the eyes.
"What do I want from you?" he asked, breaking out laughing. The voice was vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place it.
"I don't need anything from you, but I do need you as a bait," he explained as he began unlocking the chain behind me.
I kicked his crotch as soon as he let go, and he fell, groaning in pain. When I saw a phone that he had dropped, I grabbed it and ran out of the room. While walking, I kept an eye out for anyone else who might be in here.
I then heard footsteps somewhere. I looked for a place to hide quickly. I entered a dark room that appeared to be a storage room. I hid behind a shelf and sat down before carefully opening the phone. Thank goodness he didn't create a password. I picked up the phone and dialed Hyunjin's number, but he didn't answer. Why? I thought he was supposed to be waiting for my call. I dialed and dialed, but he didn't answer.
" Can I have my phone back?" I shivered as I heard a voice right next to my ear.
He quickly grabbed his phone as I took a slow look at him. As he dragged me outside the room, he abruptly seized hold of my hair. Although I struggled to fight him and yelled in pain, he was too powerful. We went into a different room with a tile floor, but it was filthy; perhaps it was a bathroom. He kicked me in the stomach after throwing me into the corner. As I touched my tummy, I moaned in agony. He took both of my hands, placing them behind me. I sank to my knees in agony as he once more chained me.
"How dare you kick my balls?" he asked, and I spat on him. He slapped me hard and wiped his saliva on his mask.
I rolled onto my side, and he grabbed my hair again while staring at my face. He then took out a knife and caressed my neck and cheeks with it. I shook as I watched the knife move.
"I could just slice your throat right now, but I don't want to make you suffer; should I start with your eyes?" he asked as he slowly placed the knife under my eyes.
" Please! No! Don't! I beg you!" I pleaded as I began to cry.
"Don't worry, I won't. I still need you," he said as he stood up and slid the knife back into his pocket.
"Don't bother scream for help because we're underground and no one can hear you," he said as he began walking to the door.
"Don't worry, you won't be alone; just wait," he said as he turned around and stopped walking.
He left the room, and I collapsed in agony from the pain in my body. I burst into tears because I felt helpless and terrified. I fell asleep gradually.
A loud bang startled me awake. I looked at the door as another man entered the room, carrying a man whose head was covered with a black cloth. He appeared to be unconscious. He threw him across me and chained him up.
"This will be your pal for a while," he said, looking at me. He then removed the cloth from the man's head, and my eyes widened as I recognized the man as Changbin.
