What happened last night?

The sun invited my eyes to a bright morning. My head was spinning like crazy. My dry throat was begging the Sahara desert to stop spreading its sand through my larynx. Headaches! Backaches! Sweats all over my body. As I looked around, I noticed that the bedroom was upside down. Sheets all over the floor, the little table that was near the bed was situated under the bed and it was accompanied by blood.

Let me guess. Hazel's blood.

I can still vaguely recall biting Hazel's foot. That was the last thing I remember.

Maybe I overexaggerated a bit, maybe I did a lot of bad things last night. I hope Hazel is still alive because I won't be able to survive a day without her by my side.

Jack Walter? Where are you? Are you still alive somewhere?

'Hazel! Jack! Hazel! Jack! ' I shouted in the room and no one answered. The silence broke me. Maybe I killed both of them. Maybe they ran away last night. But how would that be possible if I'm still fighting these heavy chains around me? I wanted to break them by using my power. After all, I was a powerful Hulion but little did I know, my body was healing slowly.

 Yes, that's right.

I couldn't break them. I felt weak. I could barely move and I wanted water.

With a sudden knock, Hazel and Jack entered the room. I jumped and screamed at the top of my lungs. "Jack! You're alive!" A faded smile played on his face as he tried to help Hazel. Her dear foot was fighting for a miracle. "Hazel, my love, are you okay?" I asked, worriedly. Obviously, she wasn't okay but I needed her to be on my side. I needed to hear her sweet voice in my devil ears. "Jack? Please say something... Are you okay? Is she alright?"

Jack placed two pillows under her knees to help her manage her pain. "I'm glad you're awake, Hawk." His tone hit differently. What happened to the connection we had, Jack Walter? Why are you talking to me as if I was a stranger? What happened last night?

"Is she going to be..."

"No, Hawk." Jack interrupted before I could finish my full sentence. "No, she's not going to be fine." He took a deep breath and continued. "Now please, leave her alone."

"Whoah! Whoah!" I chuckled, sarcastically. "What's the matter with you, Mister? What's with the attitude?" Jack was acting really strange and I didn't know what to do to gain my brother back. "Did I do something to you?"

"We're good..." He answered, dryly.

"Obviously, we're not," I crushed his ego. "What the hell is your problem?"

"You don't remember much... Do you?" He raised his voice, this time, louder. "You almost killed me last night, Hawk." He revealed. "You choked me. If it wasn't for Hazel, God only knows what I'd do?" I could taste the pain under his breath. He wasn't really happy about that.

"I don't remember anything." I pleaded. "I'm sorry if I tried to kill you." I apologized but his anger was playing a big part in his mind. "Jack? I know you..."

"Too bad, I can't say the same about you..." His words were like missiles. "I don't even know who you are anymore. Look at her." He pointed at Hazel's foot. "Only a demon would do such a thing..."

"That's how you see me now?" My heart was bombed, beats after beats. "A demon?"

"Hazel..." Jack ignored me, completely. "I'm going to prepare you something. I'll be back."

"Can you unchain me at least?" I asked, ignoring the fact that he was already pissed at me. "Please, Jack. I can't feel my legs."

"That's your problem!" Jack responded before leaving the bedroom. "Not mine!"
