I didn't have the strength to look at mom, to call her or anything. I told her I wasn't feeling too great about my relationship with Liam and I wanted alone time. She bought it and was giving me time to process it all. It was easily the longest time I've gone without speaking to her, and that hurt me so much.

I couldn't tell her I was mad at her, we've never fought before in our life. It wasn't even so much as mad as it was upset. She cheated on dad. The level of disrespect to such a good man shattered my heart. Did he know? She ruined Harry's childhood, clearly. I now believed him when he said she made his mother's life a living hell, it just made me wonder, what else did she do?

I was dressed in my practice clothes, a leo and a pair of sheer tights as a cover for my legs. I walked in and dropped my bag to the floor.

"Are you okay?" Sarah came right up to me. Niall and Liam were in the corner stretching and talking.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, why?"

"You look like hell."

"Thanks Sarah."

"Sorry," she smiled. "I just wanted to make sure, plus, we all heard how Vincent was barking at you and Harry."

"Is he here yet?"

"He's already in the studio down the hall."

I nodded. "I'll just head down there, thanks for checking in."

I walked down the hall and Harry was dancing, in a loose long sleeve and a pair of black draw string sweats that stopped in the middle of his calf, they were a little big on him. He stopped when I came in, brushing his hair back. Vincent lowered the volume and told us what part we were starting at, it was one of the more personal, intimate romantic scenes. It made me freaking nervous.

"For this lift today Harry, you need to make her look like a doll, a little feather."

"I can do that." He nodded and rolled his shoulders, very committed to this role.

This lift kind of made me nervous but I knew he could do it. It wasn't like a normal lead in lift, it was different because I was basically standing there and he turns his back to the audience, holding my hips and lifting me so I arch my back, lift my legs and he glides with me, sets me down, I hit my mark, he lifts up yet again and the goal is to really look very gentle. It was a very romantic movement.

The music began and I set my eyes on him. To my incredible shock, he gazed back, mirroring my soft expression. We moved... we moved in perfect sync, in total sync. It felt gentle, his hands softly on my shoulders and waist. It was the very first time Vincent didn't stop us, yell, he watched all the way through till we ran out of music and breath. We were up close against the other, my back to his front, his breath pounding against my shoulder

"Amazing! Amazing, that's what I've wanted, oh thank God, that's it!"

I turned and smiled up at him, he actually smiled back. Harry Styles, he smiled at me.

"Again!"

So we ran through all the pieces he was worried we were lacking connection on, which was most of it. The day was spent working so well together, every leap, touch of the hand, it was perfect. I felt so much better about this performance.

"Good job today," I smiled at him as I grabbed my duffle. "I... are we all right?"

"I..." he stared right back at me. "Don't know."

"Do you want to confront my mom?" I whispered.

"Oh God," He laughed. "Fuck no. No way."

"I don't know, just trying to help you find closure."
