Chapter twelve

the next morning had gone pretty smoothly, I was dressed in a casual dress , per usual. My mind has been constantly on Emmas lips, her soft touch and how she makes me feel. I just want to hold her in my arms again. I had just arrived at rabbit hole and ruby was in her usual outfit, serving coffee to a familiar face . Is that Eli? I walk up to them and smile

"Hey"I wave at the pair, attracting their attention

"Oh hey regina, this is Eli" ruby tells me in a kind manor

"I know .. I helped you find a job at the police station?" I look at the tall guy

"Well, yeah.." he looks down as if there's more to the story but I blow past it and look at ruby

"So .. how's you and Matt?" I refer to her old one night stand

"Well apart from him cheating , we're doing great" she sarcastically throws and I sigh

"I'm sorry .."

"For what ? He just showed me that guys are assholes, hell im gay now"She tells me in the most serious way and I chuckle

"Are you ? Fully gay?" I ask

"Yes , I think at least" she explains and Eli was already talking to one of his friends "so tell me about Emma.." she wiggles her eyebrows making she scoff in response

"What do you mean?" I was scared that she'd figure us out

"Oh come on . You know what I mean regina .."

"Fine .." I sigh out "we're a thing I guess.. nothing big though ! I don't even know if it's a relationship" i admit slightly embarrassed

"I knew it ! I'm happy for you !" She exclaims and I roll my eyes In response "so have you all done it yet" there's that same eyebrow wiggle

"Ruby ! No !" I look at her sternly

"Why not ??"

"Ruby !"

"Fine, fine" the brunettes hands go up in surrender and I get my apron on , starting to pass drinks to the people .

I haven't been sexually active in a long time and it was never with a girl , I'd only been with one person and that was a long time ago. I guess you can say I'm scared , I mean I don't know if I'll be good. I sigh and  run my fingers through my silky hair and soon it was only me left , I'm closing the place . Some times it's Ruby's night to close , and other nights it's mine . I cleaned the place up good , knowing that Henry is safe at belles house , I have to make sure that he's always safe before I can relax .

I know that Henry's asleep by now , its 12 and he's usually asleep by 10, he's a good kid so of course he doesn't go to sleep any later than I tell him, at least I'd like to think . Once I arrive home i take a quick shower to refresh myself before bed, the hot water runs over my naked body , relaxing every muscle.

I slip my night gown over my head and let it fall down my body , the soft touch of the fabric was all I needed to have the best slumber. My eyes closed in relief ready for the next day to come, I never slept in Emmas arms , but right now that's all I want .

It's now morning and I wake up with a text from belle

Hey gina, I have henry and I'll be there in ten minutes to drop him off

Alright I'll be here

I dress in my day clothes and head downstairs , throwing together some coffee and of course Henry's favorite, Orange juice. I chuckle thinking about how much orange juice my baby use to drink . I set his glass on the table , waiting on their arrival .

Knock knock

The brown eyes look up at me as soon as I open the door and I smile brightly at my young one "Henry ! Hey baby" I hold my arms out and he hugs me , well it was only a part hug, his usually lazy arm around my waist .

"Hey mom" he greets me in a sleepy voice and peer over at the pair of blue eyes behind him

"Thanks for bringing him" I smile sweetly

"Oh it's no problem , we had fun didnt we henry?" Her eyes travel to my son and his head bobs

"Yes , of course !" He smiles big and hugs belle good bye, I thank her once more before leading my son to the kitchen and he chugs the orange juice down

"Careful henry , dont chock" I tell him , paging attention to how fast he's drinking the orange juice, but he slows down to my command and sets the glass back on the table "what did you and belle do?" I sip my coffee

"We watched movies and played video games like usually" he shrugs "it was really fun because we beat my high level"

"Okay, but remember you're still grounded from what you did, running away that night" I inform him in a stern voice , a voice he always listens to. He sighs and hangs his head down before nodding

"Fine mom.. but I was wandering if I could go to Graham's house tomorrow?" My face scrunches at his request

"And why's that?" I ask

"I miss hanging out with him.. he's like a dad" I look down at my coffee, feeling guilty that he doesn't have a real dad to spend time with , even though it's not my fault I still wish I could give him anything .

"Right . Okay" and that's all I could say , still looking down at mu coffee. I knew he was excited jumped up in excitement

"Thanks mom !" He smiles big and all I could do was nod.

Henry has always been close with graham, mainly because he's always been interested in the police force , I take him there sometimes when I'm busy , and he loves learning about the life of an officer. Graham has been a big help , as well as belle who's watching henry on work nights ever since I started my new job , I couldn't be more thankful for her presents .

The day passes pretty smoothly and I send henry to bed , once I'm in my own covers my eyes fall to my phone , getting a message . It was from EMMA

Hey sexy , I miss you

I smirk at the nickname and roll my eyes, she's always one case , but I missed her too

I miss you too miss swan

I press the send button and immediately smile at her response

Call me Emma

I love calling her miss swan, mainly because of the way she reacts and always to tease her
