Chapter 6: Oskaroth

Our bus collided with the bus earlier, I looked around, almost all of us have died because of that crash, I looked at Kevin and he was fine, good thing we acted fast and used our bags to save us from death, "It doesn't end here" Kevin stated, "We must escape now" Kevin said and I got out of my seat and Kevin followed, "Where are you two going?" One of our classmates asked, "Escaping" Kevin replied, "Do you think it's safe out there?" One of them stated, "It's better than waiting here for those creatures to enter this bus" Kevin stated, "Let's-" I pushed Kevin back into out seats and went under it as our classmates who survived screamed in horror. I observed and some of them were hiding as well, one of our classmates got out of the bus and the creature followed. We're the ones who survived went out the bus quietly and eventually we ended up inside the forest, "Great" Kevin stated in his own sarcastic tone, "What do you think we should do?" One of the survivors asked, "Survive" Kevin stated seriously this time, I took out the garlic and shared it with the survivors, I gave them cutters and weapons for them to survive. "I never knew you would bring some stuff as well" Kevin said and I just looked at him. "AAAAGGHHH!" Someone screamed in pain, and we all knew it was near, we all started to run again. "We should climb on one of those trees!" I insisted and we all did. We all finally hid in the trees and we saw the creature looking around, I signaled them to keep quiet as one of the survivors in the other bus passed by running and the creature saw the him and he started to run. Eventually the creature caught the survivor and ate the human being, we all waited for it to leave and the others went down the tree first only to be killed by the creature, "Vegetables don't work" I stated as threw the vegetables away as a distraction and me and Kevin got away, eventually Kevin got caught "RUN!" He shouted as he was being eaten, I ran faster and faster away from the creature. I climbed a tree and stayed there as the creatures passed by, then I felt something was there, "Hi" the person said, "H-hello?" I replied, "You're hiding, aren't you?" The person stated, "Aren't you hiding?" I asked this mysterious person, "Well yeah, I have stayed her for five days now" and the person sat beside me, a woman, "These creatures were once human...did you know that" she said, "You studied those creatures?" I asked her and she nodded, "Those creatures, have inhuman strength, they eat people, they hunger for humans, sounds cannibalistic am I right?" She explained, "Then, you saw one of those turn into those creatures?" I asked her, "Yeah, he turned into one of them and eventually became the strongest one" she stated as she just smiled creepily, "he?" I asked her, "Yeah, a he, one of the people who hid here as well, before I got here, HE was here, he said he survived here for a two weeks, I eventually had food with me and I gave him some because we was starving. After staying with him for two days, we both ran out of food, he gave me this notebook, he wrote stuff about these creatures" she explained, two weeks? My father left three weeks before all of this happened, "and eventually I would turn into those creatures as well...sooner or later, I don't want to devour one, though, there are information here on how to stop this, the curse" she added and gave me the notebook, "He also looked like you, and now I must say my farewell, before I probably would devour you" she then went down the tree and started to run away. I looked at the notebook and realized something. "This was my father's" I said as I opened the notebook, "His handwriting" I realized everything, 'He turned into these creatures' I thought as I read on what he wrote, I passed by some pages about these creatures and what they look like. I finally found the most recent ones

I have observed these creatures, eventually I don't know their origin, but I have been told by a survivor in this tree, to stop all of this, you must kill the leader, the strongest of these creatures, after that you will meet the one who created this, the one who created these creatures who devour human beings. The leader would always end up a at cliffside near a dangerous river.

These creatures have inhuman strength, their strength is unbelievably strong, they kill their victims by killing them first and eat them.

These creatures were once human, they went into their cannibalistic ways and mutated into something horrifying.

I dont know how long I could stay here, along with her. I want to eat something, but I feel like I'm starting to turn like one of those creatures. Whoever reads this notebook, You can never hide from these creatures any longer.

I closed the notebook and sighed, "I need to kill this creature, it is as what they have said, they were once human...wait" 'Yeah, he turned into one of them and eventually became the strongest one' I recalled on what the survivor said, "Why did it have to come to this?" I then laughed, "Well who cares, he was careless anyways, hehehe" I laughed silently and thought of a plan.

I eventually got around the forest without those creatures finding me, "Trees are helpful" I whispered and then found the place. The creature was near the cliffside, all I need to do is push that thing and let it fall, and then I will finally be free. I went to the tree near it and and climbed down the tree, I was about to push it but it caught my arm and we looked at each other, the grip it has on my arm hurts, it's true that they have inhuman strength, I was afraid, I'm going to die here, and now, but, the creature let go of me, I quickly attacked it and stabbed both of it's legs and it screeched in pain, I cut it's arm with all of my strength and stabbed it in the chest and pushed it near the cliff, and with a kick it fell and then I heard a splash, knowing that could've been the river. I sighed and then heard something approaching me fast, I looked behind me to see one of the creatures, but it stopped and it fell on the ground, and it was started to decay, "Well done".
