"You should use your quirk to help villains."

"So villain like."

"How are you supposed to become a hero with that quirk."

A group of your typical school bullies of three surrounded the messy haired loner sitting at his desk in the front of the room. He stared down towards his desk, probably with a ball of crumpled thoughts bouncing in his brain. The whole class would listen and agree whatever those idiots say whenever they cause a scene like this. Unlike me, I don't listen what others say unless its reasonable. Ever since Junior High started they wouldn't bother to leave him alone when they figured out what his quirk can do. I had enough of this sh*t, I'm surrounded by a bunch of dumb*asses who can't use their head about how to use quirks.

"Why can't you mess with someone with the same level as your quirk." I said as I stood from my seat and walked towards the situation with my arms crosssed.

"I'm tired of hearing the same sh*t every morning, afternoon whatever. Leave him alone and I swear to God, I don't care if I'll get expelled or thrown into Juvi. I'll poison every single one of you if you don't shut up." I threatened the three idiots exposing my fangs which held venom.

I posess a spider quirk, I don't look like one but I can basically do anything a spider can do. Especially webs, I love those. Unlike what some spiders can do with their venom, mine isn't lethal. It only leaves them brain dead, unconcious, they drop down to the floor with only white filled in their eyes.

"Haha we were just kidding." One of the guys said and ran away out of the classroom with his two other buddies.

They proven themselves weak, sometimes words are powerful to bring a big person down, only if they take what they said and let itaffevt them. I stood in front of him and his desk making sure he's okay. I stared at Hitoshi Shinsou who was looking back with his violet eyes and eyebags hanging below them. The loner who would get bullied by other people for his "villain-like" quirk. I wasn't afraid to talk to Hitoshi or stand up for him. We talked every once in a while when it's school related. Sadly, besides the teachers, I'm probably one of the few only students who treated him like a decent human being.

some people started to  stare at us, maybe assuming

"Why is she talking to him."

"He doesn't have friends. she'll probably hate him if he purposely brainwashes her."

"He was born to be a loner."

I brushed off the fact that my classmates were staring. They're not stopping me aren't they.

"You didn't have to do that." He commented with his calm voice.

It's hard to read his expression, it's like he isn't interested in anything. Maybe its his way of saying thanks.

"I just wanted to have a normal classroom with normal classmates." I replied with my arms folded and gave him a slight smile.

Interrupting the small talk, the last bell rang meaning it was time for us to go home.We have a few months left before graduation. I decided to enroll in UA to change the world, society, I want to help people. I left my position and walked to my desk to grab my stuff. I looked at Hitoshi who was doing the same, grabbing his belongings under his table. I never seen him with anyone, maybe this time, that will change.
I jogged towards Hitoshi who was walking towards the door.

"Hitoshi." I called out to him. He turned around with his bag on his shoulder and slightly looked down.

I'm 5'2 (or it can be your own height) but I'm not going to let my height get in the way of what I want. I walked in front of him and pulled his sleeve, leading him out in the halls where we aren't in the way.

"You want to bike home together? We both know we walk the same route going him." I asked politely. I don't now if I felt bad for him or if I wanted to befriend him.

I have a couple of friends. One close one and the others are the people I enjoy to hangout with. I like keeping my circle small and I rarely talk to other people.

He adjusted the bag on his left should with the same "bored" expression.

"Yeah, sure." He answered with the same tone like earlier.

In my head, I sighed in relief and thanked God he didn't reject the offer.

We then walked to the lockers, grabbed our bags, changed our shoes and grabbed our bikes. It's not often cars would pass by our route. The neighbourhood we live in is quiet, it isn't much similar to the city a few kilometers near us. At least its safe for us to bike without having to worry about cars.

We biked next to each othee side to side. It was kind of awkward since we both didn't initiate a conversation. But I decided to speak up.

"The weather is nice today." I broke the silence.

It was almost spring, also Sakura season. The weather was a bit windy and warm. Perfect for people to ride their bikes.

"It sure is." He replied but his tone was a little different, as if his mood lighten up a little bit.

"Meow" A cat called a few meters ahead of us.

We both looked at each other and like reading each others mind, we biked towards the sound of the cat. We were close to our houses since the kitten was laying on the fence of our neighbour. It was dirty, as if he rolled on a muddy puddle. Plus it's fur is white. Our neighbour doesn't own any pets, apparently he isn't home since his car is no where in sight. The cat wasn't his. We both hopped off our bikes and jogged towards the dirty kitten. Without hesitation, Hitoshi picked up the kitten. It wasn't feisty but calm, it meowed at him.

"He's dirty." Hitoshi pointed out carrying the kitten and giving him a good scratch on his head.

It purred with its eyes close then looked at me. I smiled sweetly at this heartwarming scene. But what a coincidence, the time I stood up for him and came with him going a home, a kitten suddenly appeared.

"Are you going to keep it?" I asked while petting the kitten.

"Yeah, Kuro won't be lonely when I bring this little fella home." He smiled while swaying his finger on the cat which was playing with his finger like a toy.

It was my first time seeing him smile.

"You don't smile that often right?" I teased folding my arms.

"Well, maybe not in school." He replied still smiling at the cat then looking at me.

It wasn't a big smile, but when you look at it you know that it's genuine.

"Mind if I visit it once in a while?"

"Sure."

After picking up the cat, Hitoshi placed him on the basket from the bike and we walked with our bikes home since we're close. I couldn't help but admire how cute the cat is during the walk. We stopped at the rode with a crosswalk where we had to part ways. Before I tried to say goodbye I was interrupted.

"Uh. (y/n)?" He asked me while stracting the back of his neck as if he was nervous.

He didn't show the he was but I know he was a bit nervous.

"You want to help me wash the cat?" He asked.

I raised my eyebrows and I couldn't help but smile. Seeing the cat healthy and clean would lighten up my day.

"Of course! Your house?" I asked.

He nodded in response and I asked for his address before I ran home to drop off my stuff and change. He was just a block away.
