After we baked, I decided to teach her how to play piano. I want this day to be well-spent with her.

I want to make some moments with Verine. If I am away, I still have the happy memories to be remembered.

"Uy, Simon! Ganito ba ang C major?" she asked. I nodded. Honestly, she's indeed a fast learner.

I got my phone from my pocket. I secretly took her a photo. She's adorable, I mean she's gorgeous.

"Just keep in mind that C, G, and F has the same position. While, D, E, and A has same positions. It also have a black keys at the middle. While B has uncommon position. It has two black keys at the end. Okay?" I told her.

She nodded and smiled. When she learned the major chords, I taught her the minor.

"If it is a minor, C, G, and F, itataas mo 'yung gitna. Then, the rest, ibaba 'yung nasa middle. Understood?" I instructed.

She tried of what I told her to do. Ang galing niya. Gusto ko pa sana na turuan siya, but I decided na kumain muna kami ng meal.

"I'll cook." I said. "Marunong ka?" she asked.

"Yeah. I lived with my own for the past few years, remember?" I said sarcastically.

SAVANNA

He cooked paksiw na baboy for our dinner. Hindi ko nga namalayan na hapon na pala.

When I tasted it. "Ano, masarap ba?" he asked. "Hmm. Yes." sabi ko. Gusto ko kasi na asarin siya. Joke.

He smiled widely. We just ate quietly. "Bukas na ang alis mo papuntang Maynila, 'diba?" I asked. Nalumo agad ako dahil naalala ko pa iyon.

Sana hindi na lang siya umalis. "Yes." he answered without looking at me. Nalulungkot na talaga ako.

He suddenly looked at me.

"Manila lang 'yon, Savanna. Distansya lang. Nothing can set us apart except death." nahihirapan niyang saad.

"I know. You're my best friend." sabi ko. Gusto ko sanang sabihin na first love din. Then, I realized na bumalik ito. It came back.

"Ngayon lang ulit tayo nagkita." I added. "I'll be back soon, Sav. I'll be with you again." he said.

I nodded and smiled at him. "Yes. Let's just enjoy this day. Huwag na muna nating alalahanin ang bukas." I declared.

Pumunta kami sa batis para lumigo. When we are still young, we used to bath here. Noon 'yon.

"Tara na, Sav." he shouted.

"Oo na! Susunod na" I shouted back.

Nilublob ko na lamang ang aking mga paa sa tubig.

"Hey, are you worried? Babalik pa rin naman ako sa'yo e." he approached.

"I know. Ngayon lang ulit-I mean, ngayon lang ulit tayo nag-bonding e." nalulungkot kong sabi.

"Hindi ba, sabi mo, kalimutan muna natin 'yon? Let's enjoy this." malumanay niyang turan.

Bigla niya naman akong binasa ng tubig.

"Aba!" I told. Ginantihan ko rin siya.

Hindi na namin namalayan na basa na pala kami kaya tuluyan kaming lumigo doon.

Tawa kami ng tawa. "Hoy teka, wait lang!" sabi ko.

"Paano tayo makakauwi wala tayong dalang damit? Uuwi tayong basa?" sabi ko.
