You old man! ( Part 5 )

Summer break was so fun, especially with Haechan.

"What are you doing?!", I said as I laughed at him.

"You said we're gonna play dress up?!", Haechan laughed.

He dressed up like an old man. I heard Mother coming into my room. She saw Haechan & she giggled.

"He looks so funny!", I said to Mother.

"Come closer, I'll take a picture of you two!", Mother said.

We both went closer & Mother took a picture using the polaroid camera. She took the picture. Haechan & I went to Mother to look at the picture. It looked perfect!

Mother placed it at my small bulletin board. I smiled as I looked at it. Haechan & I played a lot more.

The sun went down & it was time for Haechan to go home...

"I'll see you tomorrow, bye!", Haechan said as Mother & Haechan left my room.

"Bye!", I said.

I lay down on my bed & drifted to sleep.

《 Few years later 》

"Wanna go to the coffee shop after dismissal time?", Haechan asked while I was studying for an exam tomorrow.

"Umm, sure.", I said as I continued reading.

Our teacher stopped discussing as the bell rang. We both stood up & I quickly fixed my things. We both rushed to the coffee shop & ordered our drinks.

We went our usual spot & chatted.

"Are you ready for the test tomorrow?", I asked him, knowing he didn't study earlier.

"Um, no-", he said embarrassed.

"Ugh, you're coming with me & we're gonna study whether you like it or not.", I said.

"Come on~~, I can just guess it & I'd still pass.", Haechan whined.

"No, we're gonna study.", I said getting my things & pulling him with me back home.

We walked together back home.

"I just realized...", I said.

"What?", Haechan asked.

"It's been years ever since we met...", I smiled remembering our first meeting.

"Oh... yeah.", Haechan looked down & chuckled.

"And the time you dressed up as an old man.", I said looking at him.

"I have it here on my phone.", I said, swiping through my gallery.

"Oh, that's just embarrassing!", Haechan whined, not wanting to see the picture.

I giggled as I found the picture. I forced him to look at it. We laughed together & I kept my phone.

"Remember when we played as a prince & princess?", Haechan asked.

I felt my heart pounding faster than ever.

"Hmmm, yeah... it was fun.", I smiled, remembering I've dreamt of that.

Haechan suddenly stopped walking.

"What are you doing?", I asked him.

"I'm the one supposed to ask you that.", Haechan said.

For a second, I got confused. I realized I was already home.

"Oh! sorry.", I said as I went inside my house & he followed me.

"Hi Mother, I brought Haechan with me. We're gonna study for a test tomorrow.", I said as I saw Mother cooking dinner.

"Okay~, I'll just be here if you need anything else.", Mother said as we went to my room.

"You stay out there for a while, I'll just change into my pajamas.", I said as I locked the door.

I changed into my pajamas quickly, not wanting Haechan to wait for too long. Afterwards, I quickly opened the door & let Haechan in.

I took out the books that we needed & opened it to the important pages. I sat on my seat while Haechan took another chair.

He sat down & I started explaining what's our test gonna be. I get to study as well while I was teaching him.

"I think I'm understanding it now~", Haechan said.

"Then... that's good!", I said, feeling happy I got to teach him.

I taught him a lot more stuff until I start to feel sleepy. I slouched & continued teaching him. I yawned from time to time & slowly got to slept.

《 Haechan POV 》

"Okay, so this-"

I turned to Y/n & saw her already asleep. I smiled as I saw her sleeping peacefully. I closed her books & fixed her table. I put her books in her bag & I stood up.

I carried her bridal style & placed her on her bed. I felt sadness hitting me as I looked at her.

I sighed quietly & I left her room.
