Happy Birthday! ( Part 24 )

I slowly rose up from my bed as sunlight came through my curtains. I yawned & streched my arms & legs.

I did my routine & got ready for breakfast. I went out of my room & all of the lights were out. Did our electricity died?

"SUPRISE!!", I heard.

My parents & Haechan jumped infront of me. I got shocked for a moment. It look a few seconds to understand my situation.

Oh yeah, my birthday-

"Happy birthday~~~", they said as they hugged me.

I smiled & hugged them back.

"Thank you!", I said as they broke the hug.

Even though everything was simple & all, it felt so perfect to be with your love ones on a very special day.

My candles were lit up. I smiled as they started singing Happy Birthday. Somehow, it felt so embarrassing, I don't know why.

I blew my candles as they finished the song. I hugged them & thanked them again.

"Let's eat! I am starving!", Dad said as he showed his fork.

I smiled as Mother gave the knife for me to cut the cake. I cut the first slice & put it on my plate. I cut more slices for my parents & Haechan.

We ate the cake & bonded 'til the end of the day. Everything was so fun. We played games, watched movies & everything.

My birthday felt much more special. My phone bursted due to notifications. A lot of my classmates greeted me. I felt much more special.

"Hey~~~", I heard Haechan come in my room.

"Haechan!", I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

His cheeks turned rosy. I smiled & pinched his cheeks.

"I have something for you~~~", he said.

"Another gift?", I asked him.

I felt so embarrassed. He kept spending his money for gifts. I don't deserve a man like him.

"Yup, and you are gonna love this.", Haechan said as he hid something.

"What is it?", I asked him as I tried to look.

"Hold on, hold on.", he said as he giggled at me.

I felt so excited. What could it be?

I suddenly heard barking. My eyes widen as something came up to my head.

"A PUUPY?!", I asked him as I jumped around.

He gave me a basket & a small, cute puppy was sitting there. I felt my so warm.

"Is it a girl or a boy?", I asked him.

"A boy.", Haechan said, smiling cheekily.

I smiled as I cuddled with him. He was a white puppy.

"I'm gonna name you..."

"Snow or Winter?", I asked Haechan.

He barked at me cutely which made me go crazy. I wanted to squish him.

"Winter would do.", Haechan said as he smiled.

I jumped around & felt so happy. I put him down as he quickly ran around my room. I was about to stand up & follow him until Haechan sat down with me.

I decided to stay & watch him roam arpund the room. He suddenly found a tissue & he had it in his mouth.

I quickly ran towards him & took the tissue from his mouth. I threw it away in my small trashbin & sat back down with Haechan.

I hugged him & I felt like a mother looking at my son. I saw Haechan smiling at the corner of my eyes.

Days passed by & I was able to teach Winter some tricks. But one day, Haechan didn't came.

As if he forgot that we were dating & he had something to do. I tried to phone him, but he didn't answer back. I tried texting him, but no replies.

I sat on my bed with Winter, thinking what wpuld Haechan have done. What could he have possibly done? I stared at Winter & frowned. He licked my face which made me smile a bit.
