Our first kiss ( Part 22 )

I came back to reality & Haechan gave me a plate. I slowly took it from his hands & smiled. We talked for a while & ate from time to time.

After a while, we finished eating. I quickly took a tissue & wiped my mouth. I drank some water & put down the glass.

"Aren't you forgetting something?", he asked me.

"Me? no. Are you?", I asked him back.

He scoffed in disbelief & showed me his phone. I saw his calendar which marked my birthday on it. My eyes widen completely forgetting about my own birthday. It was only a few days away.

"I literally forgot about it.", I said realizing.

"I mean, you know me. I'm always ready for anything.", he said as he smiled.

"You already got my gift?", I asked him as I saw him getting something from his pocket.

"Yep!", he said as he got a small box from his pocket.

My eyes widen as gave it to me. I was shocked.

"Happy birthday.", he said as he smiled.

I opened the box & saw a necklace with a circle charm with my name on it. I smiled & couldn't control my overloading happiness. I quickly hugged him & thanked him.

I broke the hug & smiled.

"This necklace...", I said.

"means a lot to me.", I finished my sentence as I turned to him.

"I'll help you put it on.", Haechan said as he helped me put on my necklace.

I smiled & felt so happy.

"And, I also have one.", Haechan said as he showed his necklace on his neck.

"How come I never saw it?", I asked him as I looked at his necklace.

"Just wore it today.", he said acting cool.

I laughed at him & we had a blast.

"My gosh, you two love brids are killing me!", we heard Haechan's aunt say.

We both laughed nervously & felt embarrassed.

"Oh, how much is our bill auntie?", Haechan asked.

"I'll pay for mine.", I said.

"Gosh, you two don't have to fight about the bill. You don't have to pay it.", his aunt said.

"Thanks auntie.", Haechan said as he smiled.

"Thank you!", I said.

Haechan & I left the restaurant & said our goodbye to his aunt, before leaving.

"That was an amazing night.", I said as I smiled.

"It really was.", Haechan said focusing on driving.

I mouthed a small sorry, thinking that I distracted him. The whole drive was quiet. I was then worried if Haechan might get sleepy again, so I played the radio.

After a while, we arrived home. He helped me get off the car.

"Thanks for everything, Haechan.", I said as I smiled.

"You're welcome.", he said smiling.

We both just stood & stared at each other. It suddenly felt awakward.

"I-I.. should go now.", I said as I laughed nervously.

"Don't get shy around me~", Haechan said confidently.

I rolled my eyes as I heard Haechan's words.

"Oh, Haechan, you are so full of yourself!", I said as I ruffled his hair as if he was a dog.

He laughed & hugged me. I got suprised at his actions.

"I love you...", he said to me.

I felt my heart, once again, pounding itself on my chest. I felt weak. I suddenly lost my balance as Haechan quickly caught me.

"Are you okay?", he quickly asked me.

I looked at him & felt the love in his eyes. His eyes sparkled much more than the stars. My heart told me to shut up & just look at him.

"I..."

"I love you too...", I said completing my words.

He looked away & laughed. I stood up properly & fixed my hair a bit.

"Can I do this?", he asked as he held unto my cheeks.

My eyes widen & felt my whole world stop.

He's gonna kiss me, right? Ugh, he's such a gentleman. He even asked me if he could kiss me.

I smiled & nodded.

He quickly crashed his lips unto mine. My eyes widen as he moved his lips against mine.

I saw him, straight up, enjoying it. I slowly closed my eyes & kissed him back. His hands went behind my neck as my hands went up to his shoulders.

His lips perfectly molded to mine as if they were two puzzle pieces meant to be. He smiled in between the kiss making me smile as well.

His hands went to my waists & pulled me closer to him. I got shocked for moment, but I ended up smiling.

We broke the kissed & quickly gasped for air. Our foreheads met & his hand made its way to my hand to hold.

Nothing made my day horrible. No one disturbed us. Nothing went bad. Everything was fantastic.

This was the most perfect thing that happened in my whole life.
