"What are you doing?", I asked Haechan weirdly.
He was just doing this dramatic pose in the middle of the living room.
"Just.. acting...", he said dramatically.
I rolled my eyes as I continued making dinner for us. Dad left a note that he'll be at the hospital with Mother.
"Hey Y/n!", Haechan called for me.
"What is it? I'm chopping right now. I don't want to get cut.", I said to Haechan as I slowly cut the food.
"I just thought... what if we try to change your look?", Haechan suggested.
"What the heck is your point?", I asked as I stopped chopping & turned to Haechan, giving him my full attention.
"Well, maybe all those stupid rumors might end if you change your look.", Haechan said as he wobbled across to room.
"School year just ended.", I said to him.
"But our groupchat never!", Haechan said as he went to the groupchat of our batch.
I rolled my eyes & said, "As if they'd like me."
"Then they'll be jealous because you have me.", Haechan said.
Haechan was quite popular in school...
"How do you know what should I wear?", I asked him.
"Well, you just asked the right person.", Haechan said.
He pulled me to the living room to search some girl outfits.
"Haechan, I have to cook. Dad would be back any minute now.", I said as I stood up.
He said, "Then cook faster!"
I rolled my eyes & continued cooking.

I heard the doorbell rang. I quickly ran to the door & opened it. It was Dad. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Dinner's ready.", I said, leading him to the dinning table.
He sat down as I put down our dinner on the table.
"Haechan, come. Dinner's ready.", I said to him.
"Wait.", he said clicking through his phone.
I pulled him & made him sit down on the dinning area. The three of us ate & we talked from time to time.
"How's Mother?", I asked Dad.
"She's fine now. She'll just rest for a bit more in the hospital.", Dad informed us.
I felt relieved after hearing good news about Mother. After eating, Haechan pulled me to my room.
"Look at that. I think that would fit you perfectly.", Haechan said pointing out some outfits on his phone.
"Oh.", I said as I took his phone & looking at the outfit.
"Maybe it does?", I said, almost whispering.
"It does.", Haechan said as he took his phone.
"And we're gonna buy it.", Haechan said as he clicked 'Purchase'.
"Wait, how much was it?", I asked him.
"It's on me.", Haechan said giving a 👌-sign.
"I have my own money. I can pay for it.", I said.
"It's fine, just treat me out for some lunch to repay.", Haechan said as he continued scrolling through his phone.
I smiled & felt happy.
"What about this one?", Haechan said pointing at the dress.
We continued to check out some clothes for me. Haechan also bought some for him.

"That was a lot.", I said as we finished.
"It was.", Haechan said as he flopped himself on my bed.
"My suprise?", I asked Haechan.
"Oh!", he said remembering about it.
"I have to go home!", Haechan said as he quickly waved a goodbye to me.
He slammed the door closed which made me startle.
"Must be a big suprise.", I said as I placed my phone on my night stand about to sleep.
I lay down on my bed & looked at my ceiling. I smiled remembering the times when I was little.
I looked at the glowing stars on my ceiling, missing Mother. I wish she's here right now...
I closed my lamp & closed my eyes about to sleep.
