First Person

Episode: Abomination
Chapter 13

I'm standing there frozen in fear.

I look up to see the killer lizard in front of me.

It hisses in my face.

"Cass. Cassie back away slowly." Stiles tells me.

I slowly stand up and take a few steps back from the thing.

"What do I do?" I ask terrified.

"Jump in." Derek tells me.

"What?" I question. That's not going to help us in anyway.

"Just jump in!" Stiles yells.

I run forward and thankfully don't get caught by the thing and I jump in.

I swim over to the boys and take Derek's other side.

"Where did it go? Do you see it?" Stiles asks.

The thing ran away as soon as I was in the water.

"No." Derek tells him.

"Okay, maybe it took off?" I say trying to keep my head above water.

"...Maybe not." Derek says looking in front of him.

We turn to see the things staring at us from around the corner.

It's like something out of a horror movie.

"You get me out of here before I drown." Derek tells us.

"You're worried about drowning? Did you notice the thing out there with multiple rows of razor sharp teeth?" Stiles asks sarcastically.

"Did you notice I'm paralyzed from the neck down in eight feet of water?" Derek replies through gritted teeth.

"Okay, I don't see it." I tell them.

Stiles and I start to move to get out.

"Wait, wait, wait! Stop! Stop!" Derek stops us.

We look over to see it circling us around the pool.

"What's it waiting for?" Stiles asks.

"Wait, did you see that? I don't think it can swim." Stiles says.

The thing stuck it's hand in the water, but took it out right away hissing.

"Okay, okay... I don't think I can do this much longer..." Stiles says losing his breath.

We've been here for two hours. The game ended a long time ago. My arms are starting to go numb.

"No, no, no. Don't even think about it." Derek tells him.
