The second I read that my heart jumped. It was odd. It was bigger than that small admiration. And with emotions comes confusion. So I was left staring at my phone, with the largest grin, and puzzled while trying to put the pieces together.

"Tsukki where are we going at a time like this?" "You'll see."
"We're here." "A field?" "That's right. There's a meteor shower tonight." "Really!?" "Mhm." "Wow Tsukki, your the best!" He turned and gave me the biggest hug of a lifetime. And I felt warm and fuzzy. Something. bigger. than. that. small. admiration.
I sat down and Yamaguchi lay down beside me. I could see the twinkle in his eyes. I couldn't help but stare at that adorable creature. "Is there something on my face Tsukki?" "Um, no." "Then why are you staring at me?"
"Shut up Yamaguchi..."
"Sorry Tsukki."
He turned his head and returned to staring at the sky. "Look Tsukki! Look!" "One just flew by!" "That's cool." We sat up there for hours. Pointing at the sky and staring in amazment. "It's so beautiful Tsukki." "That's why we came here." He looked at me and smiled a beautiful smile. More beautiful than the stars. And I couldn't help but stare.
He looked away and I swear, in the slightest whisper, I heard "I love you Tsukki."
Must be my imagination.

I woke up, still in the grassy field. I looked down and saw Yama sleeping, using my lap as a pillow. "We must've slept out here...." "Yama wake up."
...
"Yama wake UP!" "I'm awake!" "Tsukki why are we still out here?" "I think we slept out here." He giggled and I joined in. I cherish every moment I spend with him. And I want to go out like this more. But we can't keep going out like this and not be "dating". A tough bone to pick. I kind of just want these fun little adventures we have.
And I kind of want to be with him all the time.
And I kind of want him.
And I don't know why...
