Chapter 21

"Kiel, you can go down first with Jeanette and Helena and tell Lily you will stay the same as before. I will come down with Lucas soon to have dinner"

"I can wait for you outside"

Athanasia shook her head and answered, "No need. Just Lucas is enough"

Ijekiel with a disappointed look bowed his head, but immediately raised it back and smiled unwillingly. "Alright, I'll go down first. Take your time" . He knew that he could not refuse the words of the girl who became his first love though. He only felt hurt when he saw firsthand the closeness of the relationship between Athanasia and Lucas who had only met for several weeks easily overcame the relationship they had made over the years.

"I'm like a fool", he told himself. But he had no intention of stepping back from his feelings, he would still try to win the heart of the beautiful blonde girl. "I will not surrender to him, not even once to the world"

Lucas and Athanasia who were still staying in the spot saw Ijekiel's back starting to walk away. Athanasia immediately sighed and Lucas walked back towards her room. After all, their rooms were next to each other. Still in the arms of Lucas, Athanasia, currently the only one with free hands, opened the door for them. Lucas pushed the door slightly with his leg and went inside without hesitated at all. He put Athanasia on the sofa slowly and then wanted to find Lily immediately, but his movements stopped when someone pulled the hem of his shirt. He turned around to look at Athanasia's hand.

"What?"

"You're the one who will help me, after all, if you look for Lily now we won't have time for dinner"

Lucas looked at her in disbelief. "Are you serious? I was just kidding just now about helping you to prepare"

"Whatever, I'm hungry and want to eat right away. You also need to get ready right? I'll go first and then go to your room. I'll wait for you"

He could not believe what he was hearing. Athanasia? Will wait for him to get ready? In his room? Wow, Lucas where did you find this insensitive girl?

"What do you think? Turn around first, I want to take my clothes from the closet. I warn you! Don't try to peek"

"What I want to see from your ordinary body?", Lucas answered as he sat on Athanasia's bed and leaned sideways toward the wall. "Wh- Let me tell you! My body is great and many are jealous of me, this is a descendant of my mother who has a perfect body like a goddess!"

Lucas just waved one hand lazily and one hand to prop his head on the bed. "Yeah, yeah. Now hurry up!"

Lucas peered behind him for a moment and sighed. "Finally she went in, how could she easily say such nonsense? She told me to wait for her to finish bathing? I'm also a man". Not long after saying that, the sound of water flowing from the bathroom connected to Athanasia's room was heard. "Damn, I need to distract my mind", whispered him. He explored the corners of the girl's room and his eyes found a golden photo frame. In the photo there were her family. Claude, Diana, Aither and of course Athanasia. "They look happy"

Unconsciously Lucas gave a faint smile on his face and recalled his parents who were gone. He had amnesia after an accident that befell his family and still could not remember the childhood fragments that he had passed. Was his childhood happy or not?
