Chapter 34

-Athanasia PoV-

With a happy heart I prepare my clothes that I will use for a vacation with the others tomorrow. I was helped by Lily after she saw the mess I made as if I couldn't close my suitcase.

"Hehehe... I'm sorry to disturb you, Lily"

Lily shook her head and said, "No problem, miss. I hope you will have fun there with the others"

Her words made me raise my eyebrows, "Are you not going to go with us?"

She jerked slightly and scratched her cheeks hesitantly then whispered, "Ah ... I'll go on vacation with someone later"

That reaction .... hooo~ I know who she meant

I patted her shoulder and smiled sweetly at her, "Enjoy your time, if necessary I will ask dad to extend his vacation time to be spent alone with you later"

Lily looked very embarrassed and waved her hand in front of me trying to deny what was on my mind right now.

I chuckled at her response and thought to myself Lily would have been married for a long time with Felix if it wasn't for my dad who always dragged him here and there and made his schedule more packed than the CEO himself.

Looks like Lily understands my feeling, she starts hugging and stroking my head gently, "Don't worry about us, miss. We are happy to be with you for a long time. We think of you as our own child and we are proud of that". She then kissed my forehead and I hugged her back, "Thank you, Lily. I love you and Felix", "We love you too, miss"

All the residents of Obelia had woken up early in the morning, even the children and Athanasia had also finished getting ready. They could hear Jeanette shouting from downstairs if they were leaving soon, suddenly everyone asked the servants to bring their belongings. Their destination was a beach on an island that happened to have a special villa in the name of Obelia. So, they don't need to rent another one or book a hotel room.

The sun was shining bright, the air was fresh, the sky was clear, the birds were flying in the direction of the wind. Athanasia was initially very excited about that day, but she couldn't deny that she was so excited that she couldn't sleep all night, she finally fell asleep during the trip and leaned on the person next to her.

-Lucas PoV-

We are currently on a trip to go to another island for a vacation. I could not believe this family who easily planned a vacation like they were drinking water. I have to admit, Leo and I rarely walk around because the old man is always busy with his business that we don't even know about. Maybe this can be a fun experience for Leo. I looked at the car window wide open, blowing fresh air into it, no need to turn on the cooler at this time. Suddenly I felt an additional burden on my shoulder, I glanced over and found Athanasia who was sleeping now, I tried poking her chubby cheeks and she was really fast asleep. I held her head slowly and brought it to my lap so that her neck would not be stiff later, I stroked her bangs that covered her forehead and some parts of her face so she would not eat her own hair. She was like muttering something in her sleep and then comforting herself on my lap. I have to hold back my laughter so as not to wake her.
