Chapter 28

The sound of music pounding filled the auditorium, even it could be heard up to a building close by it. The first performance was a band that performed rock songs, the whole Obelia family except Claude who was already in their seats just enjoying it. Not long after, someone sat next to Diana. "It's very noisy here," Claude clicked his tongue and crossed his arms over his chest. Diana just chuckled seeing her husband who did not like the crowd was forced to contain his anger, for their daughter. But she was also afraid that when Claude saw his daughter in such exposed clothes later and prayed in silence so that she could keep Claude in his place. She already asked for cooperation from others too.

Lucas on the other hand was walking backstage because before he could sit down, he got a message from Athanasia who wanted to meet him first. He asked the people he met where the girl was. They pointed to a small room and he thanked them.

Knock knock!

"Athy?"

"Come in", the voice he recognized came from inside. He took a deep breath and turned the door handle. There, he saw a beautiful girl with her blond ponytail hair dangling freely behind her, he could still see a little of her face from the mirror that reflected herself to him. She turned around to meet Lucas's gaze that had frozen in front of the door. "Lucas?", Athanasia walked up to him and interrupted Lucas's thoughts at once. He looked at Athanasia's current appearance, even though he had seen her wearing it, but this was the first time he saw her wearing make-up which made her more beautiful. "What's wrong? Do you have a fever? Your face is red" , "No, I'm fine. So, what do you want?". He was curious about this because Athanasia wanted to meet him first before her performance. But it was lost when Lucas saw it. He felt happy because the girl needed him. Then he was shocked by Athanasia's actions which held his hand and tightened it to her own. She closed her eyes and put her forehead on his hand.

They were silent for a few moments, then Athanasia tilted her head and smiled, her cunning smile made Lucas shudder for a moment before he felt his cheeks feel warm. "Wish me luck". Just one sentence and able to make Lucas smile and then stroke her head, "Good luck, I'll watch with your family". The sound of screaming from outside spectators broke the eardrum, signaling that the next program would begin. Lucas hurried back to his chair that had been kept by Oscar and Leo before he went to meet Athanasia earlier. He sat down and peeked a little at Claude, who raised one foot on the other.

"Thank you for waiting so patiently! The next program is the most anticipated dance of our goddess team!"

The MC came out of the stage area, all lights were turned off, the situation turned silent and dark. Then it looks like there is movement on the stage, music starts playing, presenting a mysterious atmosphere for the audience.

An inscription «Attention» appeared on the black screen behind the stage and a light began to illuminate a girl, her golden hair wavy, she put on her arranged dance clothes, bowed her head, made people curious about the appearance she was about to show.
