A couple is in a car driving down a deserted street in the dark of the night, all that accompanies them is the lights along the road which are about 12 meters away with the lighting making it easier to illuminate the road. The stars and moon were out of sight, covered in dark clouds and the air was chilling every second, Athanasia leaned her head against the car window and Lucas focused on driving, watching the road.

"I can't believe it will be this easy," she muttered, drawing attention to Lucas, who then gave a small smirk.

"Isn't that great?"

"It's too good that I'm afraid something bad will happen in the future."

Worries hit Athanasia's heart, throughout her life at this time since she fell in love and started a relationship, there must be a lot of problems in her life, even though she still wants to continue this relationship, without Lucas what is the meaning of her life?

A warm hand landed on her head, she looked up to the side and found Lucas, who was smiling meaningfully at her, intending to calm her heart, "Calm down... I'll always be by your side. Therefore you also have to remain with me at all times until death separates us, maybe even until death I will still chase you."

Amused oddity slipped out of Athanasia's mouth, she was now calm, her eyes were staring at the lonely road and then the water came down gradually soaking the windshield.

"Rain..."

The longer the falling water became heavier, for fear of the road becoming slippery, Lucas was forced to stop the car and park it on the side of the road. "Why did we stop?"

"It's better to wait until the rain stops, it's dangerous if we keep driving in the middle of the heavy rain and it is already night," he explained in response to a nod from his lover.

Their hands intertwined, warmth radiated, Athanasia moved her body and leaned her head on Lucas's shoulder, closing her eyes to inhale the fresh mint scent of his body.

"If only time could stop."

"Then I don't want this to end."

Lucas smiled, his head moved and his lips kissed Athanasia's forehead gently and for a while, sending his affection to prove his immense love for her.

"Hey," she called.

Lucas hummed back her call, "I want to play in rain," she smiled mischievously and before Lucas could stop her, the car door opened. Athanasia immediately jumped down onto the deserted street and laughed cheerfully as the water soaked her body, she left her shoes in the car to keep from getting wet.

Lucas immediately looked for an umbrella and went outside wanting to stop the woman, even though the streets were quiet didn't mean there would be no passing vehicles. "Athanasia!"

"What?"

"Hurry get back in the car!"

"No way!"

Lucas clicked his tongue in resentment, afraid that something bad might happen because of her childish behavior. Not long after thinking about it, he could hear the faint sound of a vehicle moving toward them, his eyes were wide when he found a truck speeding through the water curtain in front of it, immediately Lucas ran to pull Athanasia away from the road and throwing the umbrella in his hand, he held her body tightly, not intending to let go at all.

As soon as the truck had pulled away from them, Lucas grabbed Athanasia's shoulders roughly, "Are you crazy?! Because of your careless actions you could lose your life!" he snapped.

Athanasia, who was still in shock, couldn't say anything, her body was shaking with fear and cold. She had never seen Lucas who was that angry at her, it seemed like she was doing too much this time.
