chase and nick walk you to a long set of stairs. you guys walk up to a racing slide.

you say as you throw yourself down one of the slides.

nick jumps down another one. and chase and payton follow on two others. you fall into what used to be a pool at the and now it's just an inch of rain water.

y/n | that was the best mistake i've ever made.

you laugh with your sneakers full of water.

N | ew good thing i wore old shoes.

you all laugh and keep walking.

C | this is where we hideout.

you stand in front of what used to be an ice cream shop.

N | come in.

you walk in and they have this place lit up with lights and cool furniture.

C | best thing is we got abandoned supplies from around the park. some food and whatever. now its all in here. you can bring your own food too.

y/n | you guys have quite the setup.

P | nick usually brings food that the gas station can't sell anymore because it's spoiled by a day or two. or burgers they can't sell again the next day.

N | the spoiled stuff isn't that bad.

y/n | you guys are crazy.

you all hang out and talk in lounge chairs they got from the wave pool so it starts to get dark so you all decide to go home. when you walk home you find out that you all live in a row. payton then chase then nick then you.

N | i think we'll all make a great friend group. see you all at school tomorrow?

C | for sure!

P | am i picking up tomorrow?

C | yeah.

P | y/n you need picked up?

y/n | sure.

C | just as long as you pick up some days.

payton and chase walk to their house. nick didn't go inside yet.
