A New Prophecy

We reach the pool, and Percy dives in, I sit on the edge, thinking how am I going to do this? I hate water. After a few minutes he comes up,

"Are you coming in?" He asks, I just shake my head,

"I... I can't" I tell him,

"Are you afraid of water?" He asks, I look away in shame. He heads over and grabs my hand, then he yanks it and I'm in the water. 'Tasmin you can open your eyes and breath,' he says in my mind, I let out a big gasp of breath and I notice that I'm bone dry, I look at Percy and his eyes gleam.  A few minutes later after I got used to this feeling, something dives into the water, I panic and so I rise. Aaron sits in the water looking very pleased with himself.

"Well this is fun!" Aaron says, his develish grin mocking us, "Tell me, have you ever thought of having a pool party?" He asks, I stare at him and anger takes over me, a wave of water rises, the next minuet Aaron is swept through the sea wall, and disappears, Percy looks at me, and then he jumps into the water. I realise what I did, I look at my hands, and I run. I head back up to the cabin and run out. I run to the big cabin, and a bunch of people are there, I'm about to turn around when Rachel lays her eyes on me. They glow green, and mist comes out her mouth

"4 shall go to the land of fame,
to find the one who can't be tamed,
his body cannot be put in a urn,
for he cannot burn" Rachel shuts the raspy voice coming out her mouth, and collapses, everything turns into mad, and people start looking at Percy, Annabeth, Piper and Jason. I walk forward,

"I want to go," I shout.

Everyone stops and stares at me, Aaron who is dripping steps forward,

"I will go aswell!" He says, Ryan looks at him and glares,

"I will go to!" He declares, people are starting to murmer, but Chiron walks forward,

"Only one child if the big three can go, for I fear that it will cause the monsters to attack more," Chiron says, everyone looks at him,

"Chiron I must go, because it was only when Rachel looked at me did she say the phrophcy," I tell him, he looks at me and nods,

"So does that mean I can still go or not?" Aaron says, Chiron sighs, he sounded exasperated, but he nodded, I turn to Oaks, he looks nervous, but when he looks into my face he nods,

"We need one more person?" I ask. Piper who has been talking quietly with Jason, let's go of his hand,

"I will go, because if we think the person is who is referred to in the phrophcy then I want to go," she says, immediately people start nodding, but behind her Jason looks pained. Chiron comes and stands next to me,

"All those going on the quest please come with me," he says and everyone walks off, back to their own business. Percy glances my way telling me that we are going to talk later.

I enter the big house and Apollo is sprawled across a couch, listening to music, when he see us he smiles and waves, and goes back to fake drumming. Chiron walks us to a back room. He looks at us nervously,

"My dear children I fear that this quest will be tuff, Piper you must be the planner, organiser, and Aaron don't mess around, this is important, Oaks you will protect them all despite what people say," he tells them, he then looks at me, "Tasmin, you are the leader of this quest, and you are right that the phrophcy was meant for you, but if what you told me is true, please be careful, you have a fatal flaw that you do not know yet, and that could ruin everything," he says, it didn't exactly make me feel good but I nod, "Go children get ready, pack your bags and train, you will be leaving first thing in the morning," Chiron tells us, and with that, he swishes his tale and canters out the room.

I get back to the cabin and Percy and Annabeth are there talking, I'm about to leave when Annabeth stops me,

"Hey its ok you can stay here, we are having a discussion about our first quest!" She says, I smile and head over to my bed. I lie down feeling how tired I am, and my eyes close. I am on the edge of the cliff, snarls sound behind me, and someone calls my name. I know somehow I can't get out alive and I jump.... I wake up sweat dripping of me.

"Tasmin? Are you ok?" I hear, I look around, water covers the ceiling and Percy and Annabeth are both soaking wet.

"Yeah sorry bad dream, did I do this?" I ask, they both nod, I feel my face redden and I move my hand slightly, all the water goes back to where it was, and I sit up. "I'm going to go and do something," I tell them. They look at me in shock, but I walk out. I head to the forest, trying to find a quiet place, a twig snaps behind me. I turn around, and Ryan is there,

"When are you going to stop this thing?" He asks,

"What thing?" I reply,

"Ignoring me!" He says, I look at him,

"Perhaps when I stop hating you," I tell him, this clearly irritates him, but I carry on walking, until a strong wind slams into my face and forces me to stop, I turn and face him again, but he already looks a bit drained. I flick my hand and water rises out of the ground splashing him in the face, I twist my ring to the right and my sword is out,

"I'm not going to fight you," he tells me, so I turn around again. Another wind slams into my chest and I end leaning against his chest. I look at him in the eyes, they sparkle like a storm, but it irritates me. Suddenly his lips are on mine and  I am melting inside. No. I can't do this. I pull away, and I run, I try not to look back, but I do. He is smiling at me.
