"Amari, y'all going to this football game?" Malik asked.

Mila walked up behind him and gave Amari a look then walked off. Amari really didn't want to go to the game, but she knew Mila wanted to considering the look she gave.

"Yeah, is that coo?" Amari checked.

"Yeah, just stay outta shit. I'ma be out myself so don't wait up if y'all get home before me." Malik answered. "I'm headed out right now, stay safe."

Mila walked into Amari's room and thanked her for agreeing to go to the game. Amari was stretched across her bed, in deep sleep.

Mila rolled her eyes, and before jumped on Amari's bed to wake her up, Amari's phone rang. Mila recognized the number. It was Kameron. He had asked Mila for Amari's number to ask her to go to the game.

Before Amari opened her eyes and rolled over, Mila snuck out her room to avoid hearing Amari nag about how Kameron got her number.

"Hello?" Amari answered her phone.

"Come to the game with me 'Mari." Kameron said.

"Tf? Who is this and how you get my number?" Amari looked at her phone and didn't recognize the number.

"This Kameron. And don't worry bout that. Just come to the game with me." He answered.

"Kameron, you heard what I said last night. And I told you earlier in class, you not ready for somebody like me." Amari was getting annoyed with him. He was so stubborn and hard-headed.

"And you heard what I said. Now stop playin' bruh. A nigga just trynna make a friend and you makin it hard." Kameron really meant what he said. He had just got out of a relationship and wasn't planning on getting in one for a while. But he knew he wanted Amari close. He liked her. And if it meant just having her as a friend, he didn't mind it.

"Park right there." Mila told Amari. "It's packed as hell."

"Exactly why I didn't wanna come." Amari complained as she backed up into the opened parking spot.

"You're such a boring person." Mila responded while getting out the car.

They walked towards the ticket booth, bought their tickets and walked in. You could hear the band playing and fans cheering. The game had already started.

"Mila!" a girl called out.

"Heyyyy, love!" Mila said.

"Bri, this is my sister Amari. Amari this is Briana- my best friend a.k.a Jordan's white chocolate." Mila introduced the two and laughed at her choice of words.

Briana Davis was a junior who used to date Jordan.
