'Thank you, George, for helping me,' Miss Ronnie says, her grey-blue eyes crinkling softly as she beams at the young boy. George smiles back after placing the last few books onto the shelf.

'It's nothing, Miss Ronnie.'

She hands him a small paper bag with a shaky hand. 'A token of appreciation. Chocolate chip with marshmallows. I hope you enjoy them.'

George accepts the bag, knowing if he declined, she wouldn't let him go without taking it. As one of the star students of the school, the British boy was known to the public library that the school shared in funding. Miss Ronnie had taken a liking into George immediately when he showed such a great interest in the wizarding world of Harry Potter in Freshman Year. Looking back at it (and passing the old photos hung on the memory wall at the back wall), the now-Senior found himself never wanting to forget this place.

'Thank you, Miss Ronnie.'

George heads to his stuff, which is left on one of the library tables. He picks up his jacket and bag, putting them on, before grabbing his phone. He stops, his hand frozen as he notices there's a neon green sticky note on the cover.

I love Harry Potter too! I saw you flicking through it earlier. I know you're a Muggle but I find you charming.

The writing is small, trying it's best to fit onto the square of paper. The cheesy joke makes George chuckle but upon reading the note again, he feels a little bit of unease settle in the bottom of his stomach. He had picked up one of the books an hour ago, before he even started helping the elderly librarian. The British boy looks around, trying to see anyone, but he just sees mothers with children and students studying, such as Dream and Bad.

George is starting to feel a little weird about the whole ordeal. I mean, recieving notes everywhere you set foot on without you knowing who it's from just sounds plain creepy.

George heads towards his friends, still staring at the note on his phone, dumbfounded. He takes a seat, continuing to look at it with furrowed eyebrows. Dream glances at him, tearing his emerald eyes off his English book. They land on the brown paper bag.

'What's that?'

'A cookie.'

'Awh, I love cookies,' Bad says absentmindedly, flicking a page of his Maths copy.

George pushes it across the table to the Americans. 'Go ahead. Knock yourselves out.'

Dream doesn't hesitate to take it, immediately opening it enthusiastically and breaking a chunk off of the cookie. He hands the bag to Bad, munching on his piece. He realizes George is reading the back of his phone and not his screen, tilting his head as he chews.

'Uh, are you okay?'

'Yeah, just another note.'

Bad looks up, intrigued. 'Really? I didn't see anyone put it there.'

George shrugs. 'They like Harry Potter too. That's good, I guess.'

For the past nine days, George and this mystery person has been exchanging notes. George found it adventurous, albeit a little weird, as stated earlier. When he asked for their phone number, all he got was a pink sticky note, saying 'You already have it.' Upon reading that, he went through his phone contacts, making a list of people who it can and can't be. It does ease his mind slightly that it is someone he already knows and not some creepy stranger, although he wishes that the person behind all of this would just tell him already and stop being so vague and ominous.

And it didn't help that George felt like he was falling for someone else.

Another thing George has done was start examining people's handwriting, trying to link them with the penmanship of the sticky notes. To no avail, he couldn't match anyone's yet.

'I just wish I could find out soon.'

George has found out a lot about the mysterious note-writer. Today, he learned about them liking Harry Potter. He mentally adds it to the list. So far, he knew that they have a cat, they love to write and they play Minecraft. It was a list that was so specific yet still so open. There's so many people that George could list off of the top of his head that shared these qualities. George had even tried sneaking these answers out of people and hoping for the best but, unfortunately, nothing added up right.

'It's so difficult,' he had complained to Dream. 'They seem so close, yet so far.'

Dream then, and now, rolls his eyes. 'I don't know how to help you with that but it seems that they like you a lot.'

'That was obvious from day 1,' Darryl states.

George sits back, playing with the sticky note. 'What should I do now? I asked literally everyone.'

To this, the other boys just shrug. George groans, burying his head deep into his arms.

'This is so stupid.'
