I ran up the steps to Havenfield and when I reached the kitchen I yelled
"Mom, Dad I'm home!"
"Hey sweetheart how was it today?"
I turned to the door to see Grady and Edaline holding Iggy in their palms. I ran up to them and gave them a hug before I took Iggy into my hand and started petting him.
"I was actually wondering if I could go to Everglen today?" I said this while giving them my best attempt at puppy eyes.
"Of course you can! Head on over I'm sure their waiting!" Edaline said this with such a cheerful tone that it made Sophie feel a bit better.
"Alright I'll be off then. Bye!"
And with that Sophie ran up the stairs to her bedroom with Iggy still in her hands and gently set him down on her pillow before going to quickly change into a gray tunic with brown leggings and short no heel brown boots. She then ran up to the leap master and yelled
"Everglen!"
Before the light whisked her away.
