The tension is unbearable. I tried my best to ignore it, but I couldn't help but feel uneasy.

I feel nervous in a way that makes my insides go feral.

We had a few plans for today, but both of us appeared to be preoccupied.

When we were at the Gondola Rides, float past bridges, between cafés, and beneath balconies as you cruise down the Grand Canal, there is an undeniable tension. Exchanging stares. Skin brushing with each other. Those little things made me I lose every focus I had. Even our conversations feel a little awkward than usual.

I felt bad. In our instance, for how busy we are, it's a shame we didn't fully appreciate the scenery.

Both of us are too distracted with other things. I know our minds are wandering to other places.

Sam is bringing a car for the last itinerary for today. As he should. He said we're going to a night road trip.

"Wear this." I flinched when Sam showed up at my door holding a paper bag. What is he smirking about now?

He left after handing me that bag. But when I felt a soft fabric, my eyes went down on the thing he handed me. It's an oversized shirt and jogging pants, even slippers! Why the heck is he giving me these?

Despite being confused, I still wore it. Wow... this is actually my first time wearing clothes like this. I grew up in a very wealthy family so I was always covered with luxurious clothes and dripping diamonds. My parents never let me wear casual clothes. They get mad at that. I should always look presentable. And what they mean by presentable is branded clothes and jewelries that are expensive enough to sustain lives of underprivileged people.

"Sobrang ganda pa rin, Erie." I flinched again when I heard his voice. Now he's leaning against the door frame, watching me with a smile on his face. He looks very satisfied. That made me smile.

"Talaga? I don't look tacky at all?" I don't feel conscious, but somehow I still need a little validation. And the missing percentage of being validated always comes from him. He knows how to make me feel confident in every way.

"No, not at all."

He smiled and asked, "Let's go?"

White shirt at gray jogging pants.
