♡︎Rachel and Alex ꨄ︎[7 months ago]

It's been two years since they confessed their feelings to each other, two and a half years of petty fights and resolving them. At that point, it was like a happily ever story, true friendships, true relationships, no unnecessary drama. It was surreal, the rush. Junior High School passed like a flash, a year later and they were going to be final year students. Life couldn't have been better.

Jade and Andre ♥︎{Present}

Weeks passed, Alexandre spent more time with Rachel instead of his new girlfriend. Although he did feel bad for not hanging out with her but Tori always wanted to tag along anytime they made plans. Invited or not she always found them and It was not a comfortable stay. With Rachel, it was different, although they were never hanging out alone but it brought some kind of peace and that was all he needed.

"Hey," he said on the phone smiling at Rachel as she baked with his mum and Sophie.

"Andre, are you there?" Jade voice snapped him out his stare.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I was distracted." He said walking out of the kitchen.

"Well, you called me so what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out next week Saturday?"

"I don't know dude, Tori is always there and it's really weird."

"Maybe you should stop inviting her." He suggested rolling her eyes.

"Yes, because I'd love to have a friend around when her best friend is making out with me." She said with dripping sarcasm.

"I never--"

"You know what? Enough is enough, I'll talk to her on Monday."

"Co--"

"Well, I'll see you on Monday." She hung the phone up. Dre closed his eyes, frustrated by the constant interruption.

"This might never work." He shut his eyes and walked towards the kitchen.

Rachel and Mike ꨄ︎[ 7 months ago]

"Rachel, Mike. Mike, Rachel." Nathan introduced the pair in front of him with eyes on his screen. He was much taller than his brother, his dark blue eyes matched the comfy summer shirt he was wearing, the rings on his left ear made a bad impression with Rachel, his hair was also light brown which made her think he dyed it since Nathan's hair was much darker.

"Hi, I'm Mike like he said," he gave her a strained smile, stretching his hands for a handshake from Rachel, "thanks for showing me around although I find it unnecessary." He shrugged receiving a slap on the head from Nathan.

He got the feeling that she was a good girl, you know those girls that took life too seriously, they were never out there just comfortable in their little eggshell, she wore a grey top with black jeans and heels, he almost chuckled knowing that the heels were supposed to make look taller and she was wrong. Her brown eyes looked beautiful but the brunette hair was not a good shade on her, he shook his head slowly knowing they were going to get along.

"It's no big deal, it's summer school after all. It's not like I have anything better to do." She said as they shared a fake and awkward laugh.

"Yeah, you're good to go. Thanks for this Rachel, behave yourself, Mike," Nathan said walking out of the school.

With Nathan out of earshot, Mike said, "we're both seventeen which means we're not kids, so let's cut to chase, it's obvious I'm not a fan of yours and neither are you. So we'll part ways and not mention this to Nathan?"
