Suzy sheep's POV:
    I have always thought of Peppa and I as best friends. I made her friendship bracelets, we baked cookies at her house, I even helped her hide a body that one time! So why was she acting so weird now? When we were kids things were different, specifically before she met draco. I really miss talking with Peppa but she has changed a lot! Now she always wears disguises and rolls her eyes whenever I talk to her, I just miss being friends.
    I lay on my bed crying for awhile because Peppa was my only friend, maybe if I had just been put in slytherin or her in Hufflepuff things would be different. At least there's still Pedro pony, he's in Hufflepuff with me so maybe if I ask him out I'll have another friend! He didn't seem to totally hate me when Peppa told him I liked him, so I'd say I at least have a chance. I sit up and wipe my eyes so I can walk down to the common room without letting anyone know I had been crying. On the couch I spot Pedro pony having a conversation with Edward elephant, and I overhear them talking about how Peppa is now dating Danny dog. Why didn't she tell me about this! We were supposed to be besties! We pinky swore that we'd tell each other everything! But then I look down at my hand and realize I only have three fingers.
I try to creep up to the couches without interrupting them, and I see that some student has left there homework on the table. I pick it up and sit down on the loveseat across from them, pretending to work on the homework while actually eavesdropping. I'm dying to know what's going on between Danny and Peppa.
"I heard they're going to the next Quidditch match together! I can't believe they actually started dating!" Edward elephant says.
"I KNOW RIGHT I'd have never matched those two up! Danny is so nice and sweet and Peppa is more... well you know. I'd expect Danny to be with someone more like Suzy sheep" Pedro replied. I looked up at the mention of my name and then they both seemed to notice I was there just then. "Oh Suzy I didn't see you there! I'm sure you've heard all about Peppa and Danny right? Aren't you guys best friends?" Edward asks. "Actually no, I haven't heard about it" I say. My lip quivers and they seem to sense that something is wrong, because they change the subject. I sit there and pretend to do write for a few minutes to make them believe I was actually doing homework. I'm  about to leave when Edward stands up and yawns, stretching his arms out and then announces that he's going to bed. I guess now is my chance to ask Pedro out, since no one else is here. He's gathering his things when I say "Wait, Pedro!" He pauses and looks up at me. I hesitate a little before asking "Would you maybe want to go to the Quidditch match with me? Like as a date?" He seems pretty taken aback at first but then he says "Oh, I'm flattered but... I'm actually dating Edward" I don't know why I was surprised by hearing this, I guess I'd always just assumed they were best friends and nothing more. "Oh well that's good for you!" I say, trying to be polite although I'm also sad because I guess I was kind of expecting he'd say we could at least go as just friends, but that wouldn't happen because he'd probably be sitting with Edward.
I get up and start to head up the stairs to my dormitory after saying goodbye to Pedro , and I start to tear up a little bit. My roommates don't like me, I hear them saying things like how annoying I am behind my back, and my classmates don't like me either! They always call me a suck up to the professors. I didn't really mind this too much when I knew at least peppa still liked me but now I feel alone. I really need some way to get back Peppa's attention. She's been ignoring me after she started dating Draco, and since that's over now she's dating Danny. And then it clicks, I just have break them up! I suddenly remember what Pedro said about how he thought me and Danny would be a good match. He had always seemed to like me more than Peppa but I don't know if he still has feelings. Maybe I could break them up by getting Danny to like me instead of Peppa! I guess I have never thought about dating him before but he is very sweet so I guess I could give it a shot! The best place to try to get his attention would probably be at the Quidditch game. He's never really liked sports, so he probably won't be paying attention.  All I have to do is distract Peppa in a way that will make her leave the game or go to the bathroom or something, so I pull out my notebook and start planning. And yes, I have a notebook instead of parchment because it's the twenty first century so you can get over it.

I'm sorry for the dry and uneventful chapter, I just need this to plan for a more interesting chapter that I'll probably have published within the next two or three days to make up for not posting in awhile. Anyway thanks for reading!
