One week later

Today was Friday, it's been a week since mine and Zions date which means today I go out with Nick.
Zion and I decided to keep sleeping together a secret. I just don't want there to be any drama.
But, anyways, I was currently getting ready for my date. Nick texted me and hour and a half ago and said he would be here in two hours.
He had also told me to wear a bathing suit under my clothes, so now I think I have some sort of idea about this date. He was keeping it a secret, like Zion.
I decided to leave my hair natural, since it was most likely going to get wet anyways. I once again left my face makeup free, and went to my closet to put on something over my bathing suit.
My top was white and it tied around my neck and my bottoms were high waisted and yellow. I decided to just pull on a black T-shirt and a pair of jean shorts.
Just as I finished buttoning my shorts, the doorbell went off, making me jog downstairs. When I opened the door Nick stood there with a smile on his face.
"Hey Nick. What are you doing here early?" I stepped forward and kissed his cheek and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I couldn't wait for our first date", He beamed. I giggled and slid on my sandals and followed him out to his car. "I'm really excited to see where we're going."
He opened the door for me, and waited for me to get in before talking. "I like it. I hope you do too." I grinned at him and watched him run around to his side and get in.
"Are you nervous?", I questioned Nick a few minutes into the drive. He looked hesitant, but eventually nodded.
"About what?" "Of losing you. I haven't had a good relationship in a while. I thought maybe you could change that. But now I know how slim the chances are of that happening. I know you and Zion love each other, and I don't want to stand in the way of that. I'm still taking you on a date, cause I want to soak up the last time of us being anything romantic. And I want you to know that I am 100% going to respect your decision of being with Zion."
Not gonna lie, my heart melted a bit. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers together, and brought his hand up to my mouth and left a kiss on it.
"Thank you Nick. I really really hope we can still be best friends after this." He shot a small smile at me and nodded, "Of course. I would love that. I wouldn't want it any other way."

"Again, thank you so much Nick. I really enjoyed tonight." We walked up to my front door with our fingers tangled together.
"It was my pleasure. I wouldn't have done anything else tonight anyways." I smiled at him and lightly squeezed his hand.
We stopped in front of my door and turned to each other. "I'm always gonna remember our time together Nick." He looked down and plastered a fake smile on his face.
"I will too. You made me really happy Tiana." We looked into each other's eyes before slowly leaning in.
I held his face in my hands and he set his hands on my waist. I smiled into the kiss, and pressed my lips against his harder.
I pulled away and rested my forehead against his. "I will always love you Tiana." I smiled and cupped his cheek with my hand again. "I will always love you, Nick."
And with that he walked away, and never looked back. I took a deep breath and walked into my own home.

Ok soooooo, I know I skipped over the whole date part which made this chapter rlly short, but writing this actually hurt my heart lmao. I was Lowkey shipping Nick and Tiana and the fact that I had to tear them apart made my almost cry 😂🥺😭 Anyways, hope u enjoyed it 🤍
