LELANI EXITED out of her school sticking her hands in her pockets feeling the cool florida breeze. her box braids were pulled into a bun so they weren't much of a problem being that the wind was a little strong. she walked along the side walk making her way home.
she didn't wanna be home but where else could she possibly go. she had no friends nor did anyone in the family mess with her enough to let her move in with them sadly. she made it home in no time sticking her key in the door opening it.
her mother's car was gone meaning all her siblings were gone as well except her husbands car was there. she shut the door back and locked it taking off her shoes. "there's food in the fridge." her step dad jahseh spoke coming down the stairs. "that's okay i'm not hungry." she assured not wanting to have a conversation with him.
"you know you can talk to me lelani i won't hurt you or anything." he spoke. "oh no it's fine i'm just really exhausted from school i think i'm gonna take a nap." she said giving him a forced smile before making her way to the attic where her room was located.
"wait lani." he said. "jahseh really i'm fine." she assured again. she wasn't really used to him talking to her when ever she was being yelled at or just being put down in general he never interfered. "your not and it's okay to not be okay lelani." he said making her eyes water.
he looked up at her and seen the tears roll down her face. "fuck come here." he said as she walked over to him. he pulled her into a comforting hug as she sobbed on his chest. "it's okay baby i promise your gonna be okay." he whispered softly. "i just don't know what i do to get treated like this." she cried.
"your dope as fuck and their jealous including your mom some one i hate to call my wife." he said. she sniffed and looked up at him. "can i kiss you please?" she asked. "sure." he mumbled. she connected their lips together as she felt how soft and smooth his were.
she was about to pull away when he deepen the kiss. he tapped her thigh making her wrap her legs around his waist as he sat her on the kitchen counter. he rubbed over her butt pulling away pecking her lips a few times. "wanna know a secret?" he asked. she nodded. "i've gained feelings for you and i know i shouldn't feel a type of way about you considering our age gap but i can't help it." he spoke.
"we can't." she whispered. "i know- i just love you more than i should." he mumbled looking down. "my mom she'd kick me out. please don't tell her." she begged. "i won't." he responded.
Couple Hours Later
the family sat at the dinner table eating there food. they all had a conversation going but left Lelani out of it as usual. "can you past me the potatoes." she asked her little sister before her mom cut in. "don't you think you've had enough , your already so big." she spoke. "never mind." she said getting up from the table putting her dish in the sink.
jahseh shook his head at his wife's foolish behavior and finished eating his food then headed upstairs to check if lelani was okay. he knocked on her room door hearing a faint "come in." he walked inside her room and closed her door back making sure to lock it since he had a couple things in plan.
"you okay?" he asked "yeah of course you know she always says stuff like that so it's fine." she assured him cutting on her lamp. "let me make love to you." he said catching her off her guard. she shook her head, "we can't" she whispered looking down in her lap. " we can, i promise to be gentle." he said as she looked up at him debating. "o-okay."
