Chapter 35: Blue-Nosed Reindeer! Chopper's Secret!

Recap:

Doctorine suddenly pulls out a scalpel, pointing it at Nami's neck. "There are only two ways a patient ever leaves my care..." she chuckles darkly. "Fully recovered, or dead! You're not going anywhere! Either of you!"

You swallow hard, knowing that Nami was worried about getting Vivi to Alabasta as soon as possible. You yourself were worried. But, just how were the four of you going to leave?

The three of you were now silent, the room thickened from the tension. Suddenly there was a banging sound as the door crashed open, and in ran the creature called Chopper, along with Sanji and Luffy, both of them wrapped in bandages on their chest and grabbing both of Chopper's arms.

"AAHH! HELP!!" he cries.

"HOLD IT THERE DEER MEAT!" Luffy shouts, already trying to bite down on the creature's furry arms.

"Luffy! Just wait and I'll cook him up!" Sanji grins wickedly.

"Incredible...They're already up?!" Kureha says in surprise. Now that you had a better view of the creature, you weren't freaked out anymore. Instead, you let out a squeal and pull the furry reindeer away from the two who were trying to eat him.

"Awww!!" you squeal, hugging Chopper tightly. "You're so adorable! And soft!!" his brown fur was the softest, and warmest thing you'd ever felt. He screeches in protest, trying to move away from you. 

"Let go you damn human!" he shouts, "I-I'm not cute!" he stutters, though the blush on his cheeks is very obvious. Sanji and Luffy notice this from afar, and only become much more determined seeing the amount of attention he's receiving from you.

"Sanji! I want to eat him NOW!" Luffy yells, grabbing Chopper from you. 

"Oi oi I said wait!" the blonde hisses.

"I'M NOT FOOD!" Chopper shouts, and suddenly he grows to be a large furry monster, smacking the two on the head and the fall face first into the ground. Your eyes widen, and before you can go to hug the reindeer again, he shrinks back to his regular size and runs off.

"Whoa.....!" Nami says in awe.

"He ate the Human Human fruit." Kureha explains with a sad smile, "Which lets him do anything a human can. And, I've taught him all of my medical skills."

"OI! IT'S GETTING AWA-"

"KNOCK IT OFF!" You cut off Luffy with a strong smack to the back of his head and the male hisses in pain, a large lump forming. 

"OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR Y/N?!" he yells, "YOU MEANIE!"

"Don't eat him!" you shout back, watching as the blue nosed reindeer runs out. "W-Why don't you see if Kureha-san will join us on the ship?!" you say, saying a silent prayer it'd work.

To no one's surprise, it did as the male nods. "Yeah. Good idea." he says calming down and turning to the old woman. "Oi, old lady. Join my crew please!"

Kureha raises an eyebrow. "Luffy, you said your name was right?"

"Yeah." Before the male could say anymore, Kureha kicks him harshly in the face and Luffy instantly goes down.

"WATCH YOUR MOUTH!" she yells, "I'm still in my 130's and kickin'!" she sits back on the table, popping open another bottle of wine. Luffy, who is unfazed by this, sits back down. "You want me to be a pirate?! Ridiculous! I don't have the time, and I'm not interested in the sea!"

"Who cares?!" Luffy grins, "Just do it! Let's have a cool adventure old lady!"

"Oi I told you to watch your mouth!"
