Laiya's pov
Dinner was amazing, the conversations were amazing even the short walk to the water was amazing, but what was the most amazing was being asked to be Ruel's girlfriend. Never would I have though that I would become the girlfriend of someone who is extremely famous. Tonight I was going to meet Ruel's dad and sister, although he told me not to worry and he seemed fine I was shitting myself on the inside. As we got out of the Uber and walked over to his front door the nerves just got worse.
"Hey don't be nervous they will love you" Ruel said grabbing my hand I just smiled back in return
He knocked on the door and I could hear familiar yelling from inside, it was Coco.
"Hey guys!" Coco said pulling open the door and giving me a hug which I returned
"So no hug for me, I see how it is" Ruel said giving her a fake pout
"No sorry, but Laiya come here and meet the family!" Coco said opening the door for us, Ruel grabbed my hand brought me into the living room
"Hello family, meet my girlfriend Laiya" he said pointing towards me
"Hello" I said smiling and waving at them
"Laiya! so this idiot grew some balls and asked" she said pulling me into a vey big hug that I returned laughing
"Hey Laiya it is lovely to meet you" Ruels dad said pulling me into a hug as well
"Hi Mr Vandijk, It's nice to meet you too!" I said once pulling away
"Oh please, call me Ralph" he said touching my shoulder
"Well it's lovely to meet you too Ralph" I giggled
"Laiya, Ruel! come sit so we can chat about your night" Kate said giving me a hug
"UGH FINE" Ruel said rolling his eyes making me laugh
"So how was your night" Coco asked
"It was very nice, we were the youngest in the restaurant by far though" I said
"Yea and the lady at the front desk was being a bitch, but Lay told me to not let it ruin my night" Ruel said laughing
"Language, and thank you Laiya!" Kate said lightly slapping ruel on the arm making me laugh
After a while of us talking and making jokes Ruel brought me up to his bedroom. I really like his parents they are super sweet and I can tell they like me too, well at least I think they do.
"They like you, a lot" ruel said pulling me onto his bed and wrapping his arms around my body
"I hope so, I really like them" I said snuggling into his chest
"I know they do, wanna watch a movie?"
"sure" I said back
"Ok! lets watch a horror!" he said putting on the conjuring
"ughh I hate you" I said covering my eyes
"You don't like horror?" he said taking my hands away from my head
"No it's annoying" I giggle
"I'll protect you" he said hugging my tighter
Every time a jump scare would come I would snuggle further and further into Ruel's chest making him laugh, once the movie had finished I checked my phone and noticed that it was 1:30am
"Hey Ruel, I have to go now. Its nearly 2" I said turning my head towards him
"Nooo stay that night... please" he whined
"I would love too but I need to see my mum" I said starting to sit up
"Okkk will I see you tomorrow?" he asked
"Yes I have a shoot at 11 that finishes at 12 so I could meet with you at 1?" I said
"Yesss that sounds funnn" He said walking me over to his bedroom door
"Bye Ruel thank you for tonight!" I said hugging him
"Bye Lay" He said gently grabbing my chin and giving me a deep passionate kiss
We walked downstairs and I said my goodbyes to everyone, Ruel drove me home and walked me up to my front door.
"Bye girlfriend" He said looking at me
"Bye boyfriend" I said back giving him a quick peck.
He turned away and I walked into my house, I told my mum everything and she seemed extremely happy for me. Now all I have to do is tell my brother and dad. Dad will be fine it's just that Jacob can become extremely over protective which is cute but also VERY annoying.
I had a quick shower and changed into Ruels hoodie before heading to bed. Tomorrow is a big day for me lets hope I can pull it off!
