I ran downstairs to see Ruel talking to my mum, they were joking around and laughing. Although my mum has been through a lot with the divorce she is always happy and has the most beautiful smile.
"Hey bubba" I spoke
"Hi lay" he responded giving me a hug
"Alright you two, I am going out I'll see you later" mum said
"You are wearing lipstick and you never wear lipstick" I said pointing at her lips
"Oh yea I am" she responded grabbing her bag
"Is this person a guy" I asked smirking
"Its a friend" she said whilst opening the door
"Mum! you have a date" I said pulling on Ruels arm
"Bye Lay I love you" she said rolling her eyes
"Have fun Amanda" Ruel said smirking
"But not too much fun" we said at the same time
"Bye bye guys" she said laughing
I took Ruel up to my room and we sat cuddling on my bed talking sweet nothings
"So are you going to tell me the news" I said sitting up
"Yea I will" he said smiling
"Sooo... I will be releasing me ep in in two weeks" he said smiling
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I screamed
"No way!" I said tackling him into a massive hug
"yea all I have to do is record two songs, they are already written just need to be recorded"
"Ruel I am so so so proud of you" I said giving him a kiss
"Thank you i'm very proud as well"
"Yes you should feel proud, very proud" I whispered
"I am taking the cover photo in two days and I already have the name"
"Can you tell me the name?" I asked
"Yea it will be called Ready" Ruel said
"I love it" I said
"So when will you tell me your good news?" he asked
"Well hopefully in 3 or so weeks" I said
"Who knows about it"
"Only my mum and Anu cause they were there when it all went down"
"ahh I can't wait.. should we watch movies now"
"sure.. Austin powers?"
"YESSS" ruel screamed
We watched the movie laughing along and quoting some of the lines. When I'm around Ruel I don't feel the need to do wear or do anything fancy, we both enjoy each others company. We did the classic couple face masks and took pictures which Ruel insisted in posting one even though I told him it could spark rumors. Though he didn't seem too nervous about it.
