------------------->  WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF A NOTE that she had written on her arm, Artemis remembered to take the first years with her to the great hall this time.

And after a rather lazy breakfast and a few boring classes (except second period, because Transfiguration could never be boring with Professor Dumbledore teaching them), Artemis headed to the Owlery to mail letters to her parents and Charlus about her first day as prefect. Bottomline was that she didn't mess it up too badly, and Charlus didn't think that she would make it to day two, so he now owed her ten gallons.

After butterfly-kissing her snowy white owl named Owliver (with respect to this book about a young muggle boy named Oliver Twist that her mother used to read to her and her brothers when they were younger before threatening to leave them in an orphanage if they misbehave), Artemis met up with Gen and Roman before the three of them headed over for lunch.

Things got a little... sad, however, when they met Gen's most recent ex, Mason Hemingway, on their way to the Great Hall.

"Just so you know, I'm already dating Katherine now. But if you apologise to me, I may be willing to take you back..." He said.

Gen gave him a sympathetic look. "Now why would you want to promote self torture by dating her? You know, for a prefect, you are setting up a very bad example for the younger years..." And Artemis and Roman exchanged a glance before taking that as their cue to continue walking to the Ravenclaw table. After throwing Mason a smile so sweet that it could make sugar jealous, Gen followed them.

They seated themselves in a way that they could face the Gryffindor table before Roman's owl, Remus -who was named with the irony in mind- arrived at the table with his mail (and yes, Remus was a very slow and rather 'big boned' -as he liked to term it; never mind the fact that birds had hollow bones- owl but Roman wouldn't trade him for the world). Roman opened that day's Daily Prophet and skipped all the news to the game's section. He took one look at the crossword puzzle, frowned, and then proceeded to wordlessly hand it over to Artemis who accepted it and then began working on the crossword puzzle herself.

Her dear second oldest brother choose that moment to grace them all with his wonderful presence.

"Hello sister-mine," Fleamont said, making his way over with a mug in his hand.

"I wonder what crime I committed in my previous life to be stuck with such awful brothers," Artemis muttered lowly before continuing to do the crossword puzzle.

"What's in that?" Roman asked, curiously as he eyed the mug.

"This," Fleamont bagan as he carefully lifted the mug up higher, "is nectar. It is the drink of the gods- it is ambrosia!"

"It's pumpkin juice with pumpkin chunks in it," Artemis translated, not looking up from the newspaper. "Fleamont likes it, he's odd that way."

"It looks full," Roman noted.
