Okay, I've been like bursting waiting to tell this so FINALLY-
I am making a published copy of Just a Little Glorybringer for Ya!!!
As in a real physical copy that you can hold in your hand, likely a hardcover if I can get it from the place that's likely gonna be printing them. It won't be in bookstores or anything since it's a fanfiction, of course, but I am going to be selling copies to anyone who is interested, as this is something I've seen popular fanfictions do before!
But it's not going to be the exact same thing you'd read on the Wattpad book, of course. In this new, published version, there will be the following awesome things to look forward to:
-Fanart of the characters drawn by amazing artists ActiveArtist, FangirlGoddess101, ApricotTheRainwing, dragoonlord, Almighty_Shipeon, and more! This includes pictures of Joy, Air, Rainkeeper, Firefly, Macaw, Nightflyer, Seashell, and more!
-Every chapter will be edited beforehand, so any grammatical errors/plot inconsistencies will be gone. It'll be a clean, polished version, so hopefully any parts that confused you in the original will be cleared up.
-Extra chapters that you won't find in the Wattpad version, particularly ones involving your favorite ships and interactions between characters who I don't think get enough conversations with each other.
-I will also be including any oneshots I have written up to this point about the ships that are in the book.
-Each copy will be personally signed (with my Wattpad username, of course) by me and any fan artists who want to.
I do not know for sure when the published addition will come out/when you will be able to buy it, but I am aiming for the end of the summer/early fall, as I have to piece everything together and figure out how to sell things online.
Now onto the best part!!
I have a front cover for JALGFY in mind for this edition, although if the artist doesn't give me permission to use it, I'll have to come up with something else, but I don't have anything for the back cover! That's where you come in :)
I am officially hosting an art contest for the back cover image!!!
To keep with the fanart theme, I want the back cover image to be of the ocs in the book. Preferably of Joy, Kelp, Air, Nightflyer, Rainkeeper, and Seashell, but you can add in whoever else you want, such as Firefly, Coal, Pear, etc. To enter, simply make a piece of art and send it to me!
The Guidelines/Rules for the contest are as follows (Imma bold the parts that are extra important):
-Your piece must be in color or in black and white. No plain pencil, as it does not turn out well when the picture becomes digital. Colored pencils are fine.
-You may use whatever medium you would like to create the image (paint, colored pencils, digital drawing, art apps, macaroni pasta, etc.)
-The artwork must be your own.
-The piece must fit with the plot/characters of JALGFY. Ideally, I would like an image including Joy, Kelp, Seashell, Rainkeeper, Air, and Nightflyer, but I am curious what you all will come up with so it does not have to include all/just those characters. The minimum number of characters is 2.
