   I was intoxicating.

I blurred the lines you had inside your head,
I fogged the foes disguised as a friend,
I smeared the felony blossomed in the crevices of a dent,
I darkened the blind trust that made you repent.

I was bottled inside the token of camaraderie,
I was met with your sight of a quandary,
I glinted to the concern of Selene's mockery,
I was ignored, only to be met by the ossuary.

I was poured on the parchment of peace,
I was held behind those words that healed you like the golden fleece,
I was conceited amongst,"Che Bella, la mia attrice?"
I was the thunderous omen to earn your quiesce.

I didn't take long, I did take my time,
Your nails digging my master's sin, sinfully grime.
I radiated like the sun inside you, filling you with darkness,
Your eyes were devoid of the glitter that attracted this madness.

My hands reached for your throbbing heart,
My roots engulfed everything you could impart,
My flowers bloomed the from the seeds of purple heart,
My fruits made you wish undone the oblivion from the start.

I didn't drown you, I gave your life new wings,
I didn't poison you, I made you wary of with whom to sing,
I didn't smother you, I kissed you out of the sound of your purse strings,
I didn't kill you, I freed you from the trap of his wedding ring.

You asked for my lover,
The only thing you breathe and don't suffer,
You asked for an angel, Marlene,
The satan christened himself to phosgene.

My child was a killer.
My lover was a life-giver.
I was intoxicating
And Marlene, you were dead.

If you didn't get it, this pathetic poem is about chloroform. Chloroform reacts with oxygen to form phosgene which is poisonous.

I hope you like my nerdy metaphors.
