Honestly, Poland was kind of nervous. Sure, he was glad that he didn't have to spend Christmas alone, but he'd never met anyone in Germany's family other than Austria, and America. Both countries were very nice though, so he tried to tell himself that he was in good hands. He also had to worry about Vesper though, he'd left the cat with Slovakia, Slovenia, and Czechia. None of those countries had ever taken care of a pet before, but Poland knew they all loved Vesper. It was funny whenever he had them over at his house, they'd always take turns for who was going to hold or pet the cat next.

"Poland?" A voice asked. The young man turned his head to face his friend.

"We're almost there." Germany said. Poland nodded, smiling a little.

"Don't be nervous, I'll introduce you to everyone, or just tell you who they are." He said.

"Th-thanks Anon." Poland said, fidgeting with the sleeves of his sweater.

After a few more minutes of driving Austria parked in front of a large house. It wasn't a mansion, but still considerably larger than the average home. There were Christmas lights lining the roof and a beautiful garland over the front door and entry.

"This is it." Austria said.

"Wow, it's beautiful!" Poland said excitedly. Germany chuckled lightly.

"I'm glad you like it!" He said. They all got out if the car, Austria opened the trunk. Inside was a few wrapped gifts. The three each grabbed a few and started walking towards the front door. Poland looked over to the yard, he smiled as he noticed a few snowmen.

When they finally made their way up the long driveway and to the door Austria balanced the gifts he was holding in one hand and knocked on the door. Inside a few dogs started barking, and voices could be heard.

"Coming!" A woman with a french accent called. After a few moments the door opened to see France with a spatula and a two other younger countries holding back a few dogs.

"Come in! Come in!" She said excitedly. The three stepped in and France closed the door behind them.

"Aussie, Kiwi, could you take the gifts and put them under the tree s'il vous plaît?" She asked. The two nodded and were handed the gifts.

"Comment ça va?" She asked, going around and giving the three hugs. Poland wasn't expecting a hug, but he didn't complain either, it was nice to feel welcome. [Translation: How Are you?]

"Ça va bien, et toi?" Germany said. [Translation: I'm well, and you?]

"A little stressed, but I'm doing much better now that everyone is arriving." She said. Then she looked over to Poland and smiled.

"Bonjour Monsieur, you're Poland, right?" She asked. He nodded. [Translation: Hello Mister]

"Y-yes, and you are?"

"France." She said with a warm smile, it wasn't hard to tell that she was definitely a good mom.

"It's a pleasure meeting you Pol-"

"Fraaaaaance! I think something is burniiiing!" A voice yelled from the kitchen. The woman let out a sigh.

"Un moment Bretagne!" She yelled back to her husband. Before she could say anything else she was interrupted again.

"Dear there's no time for 'one moment's!" Britain yelled.

"Excuse moi," She said before running off to the kitchen. [Translation: Excuse me]

"C'mon I'll show you around." Germany said, motioning for Poland to follow.

They walked through the house, Germany showed Poland the many bedrooms upstairs, where all the bathrooms were, basically everything he needed to know. The two stood in a small hallway at the bottom of the stairs. There was a small window that could view into the backyard. The whole thing was covered in snow, except for a semi-large pool. Poland looked out the window, looking at all the little trails that had been made in it by dogs or people.
