New Woman

I could find many reasons to complain,

But the effort it'd take wouldn't be worth the pain,

Re-living those moments, that God has erased,

I'm a new woman, for heavens sake,

I could sit on my bed, and remember my wrongs,

I could dread the memories, God says are gone,

I could drown in my tears, but I'll move by my Faith,

What I've done through the years, is gone for heavens sake,

I could find many moments, to resent my past,

But I'm a new woman, restructured from the last,

I'm covered by the blood, I'm walking by Faith,

No matter who I was, I'm a new woman for heavens sake,
