Temptation

Today, you've been resisted, I've fallen for you before,

So although you keep insisting, I won't fall for you anymore,

You've caused me sorrow, regret, you've caused me shame,

Your deceit I won't follow, go back from where you came,

Today, you've been resisted, you no longer have dominion,

My Faith won't be conflicted, keep your unRighteous opinion,

You will be judged, you're a snare, no matter what you claim,

To my God you don't compare, in Him I must remain,

You've been placed beneath my feet, my heart you won't touch,

I've overcome your defeat, and today, I'll walk as such,
