What's happening to me

Chapter 24

Stiles'sPOV:

We were driving in silence just enjoying each others company and being together just the two of us because after the baby's born who knows how long it's going to be before we get another chance to do something like this again

"So are you going to tell me what we're doing now?" I asked hoping to get some sort of answer out of him

"Well the reason we are starting so early is because I have three things planned for tonight and that's all you're getting out of me" I sigh but smile thinking of how there's not only one but three things planned for us, he really does go above and beyond. We were just having meaningless chatter when we pulled up to the little diner that we went to that time he picked me up from school at lunch to get out of telling the pack about ya know the whole being kidnapped situation

"Really?"

"Hey I was trying to be sentimental ok if you don't like it we can go somewhere else" he say's looking a little sad

"No no no it's perfect I just didn't think that you would remember something like this I really appreciate it it means a lot that you thought of something like this" I say rushed as to not wanting him to think he made the wrong decision

"Oh ok haha I thought you hated the idea" he say's a small smile playing on his lips

"Well I love it" I say pulling him in for a quick kiss before we got out the car and made our way in hand in hand, we ended up sitting at the same table as last time but luckily we had a different waiter an older women who kind of smelt like lavender and cigarettes.

We ordered our food and the conversation just flowed smoothly whilst we ate, we were talking about school until the women brought out our joint sundae that looked so good I was debating whether to just order my own because I didn't want to share it with Derek but decided against it because you know we gotta be that cute cliché couple every now and then. We were eating in silence when I decided to bring up the topic we hadn't really spoken about the whole dinner

"So Derek I had a question?"

"Shoot" he said his mouth full of whipped cream from the sundae, I giggled before becoming serious again

"I was just wondering whether you had any baby names in mind for like a boy or girl?" he stops chewing and looks at me before swallowing what was in his mouth and placing his spoon down on the table and looking up at me

"Well I haven't really thought about it I guess" he say's except I was listening to his heartbeat and could tell he was lying damn it feels good to be able to do this

"I know you're lying" he looks shocked and he's face goes bright red, he coughs to cover up his embarrassment before looking down at his hands

"Ok I have but do we really have to talk about this now can't it wait?" he said giving me puppy dog eyes

"Alright alright fine just stop looking at me like that" I say smilling even though I was a little upset about the fact he didn't want to talk about our child and there name but oh well I guess he's right we should make this night about us. I shake off the thought and dig into the rest of the sundae probably looking like a child myself from all the mess I made but do I care no. Why? because this is one good damn sundae

I look up to see Derek laughing at me I was confused but started laughing as well because he's laugh was contagious

"Why are you laughing at me?" I giggle out

"I hope our kid will be a cleaner eater then you are Stiles come here" he say's laughing before grabbing a napkin and wiping my face for me

"I could have done that myself" I say blushing and pouting like a child
