What's happening to me

Chapter 27

Stile'sPOV:
When dad finally came around and joined us downstairs he was over the moon with joy and happiness he even shed a few tears. After all the commotion was over we decided to all have dinner together as the family we are and I offered to cook but Derek was being stubborn and not letting me he was saying things like 'you need to take it easy' and 'is it really a good idea for you to be doing so much work' so I got annoyed and sulked until I got my own way so here I was in the kitchen making everyone's favourite dinner its simple but nice.

"Dinners ready!" I holler to the hungry pack of wolves excluding my dad and Melissa but they way they were being like you could say they were hungry wolves too.

"Oh thank God I'm starving" my dad exclaims as he takes his seat ready to dig into his dinner

"Stiles you know how much we love you spaghetti Bolognese it's quite literally to die for" Lydia said taking her spot next to Aiden

"You know as much as I'm flattered by your complement I don't find it very comforting coming from a banshee that literally predicts death" with my little comment the table burst into laughter and I can honestly say that it was music to my ears, with everything that's happened throughout the years the sound of my family laughing and having fun nearly bought me to tears, well if I did cry I would just simply blame it on the hormonal pregnant ass that I am but on a serious note I couldn't think of anything better to be doing right now... ok there's one thing but this books kinda PG so I'll let your imaginations wonder ;)  

"I know you're all hungry but before we eat there's something I would like to say" Derek says standing from his seat at the head of the table, I look to him confused and tilting my head like a puppy he just smiles at me looks to everyone

"Ok as you all know I don't really do the whole sentimental cute chick flick movie moments but here goes" there was a couple of giggles from that but they quickly die down as Derek takes a breath

"After the fire happened I didn't think I could ever get my family back and obviously I can't but I did get something else... I got my pack now I know some of you don't feel like you do much for the pack or that you're not as important but I can assure you right now that that's not true in the slightest I love each and everyone of you equally obviously I love Stiles more because well he's the love of my life and I couldn't ask for anyone better." Everyone has tears in there eyes as Derek talks and we can all tell this is truly coming from the heart I notice him take a deep breath before feeling around in his pocket what is he doing?  he turns to look at me and pulls me up from my chair and moves us over a bit he places his hand on my cheek and gently rubs my cheek with his thumb

"Stiles I just wanted to say that I love you and I mean it with my whole heart I've never loved someone the way I love you you mean everything to me and if I ever lost you I feel like I would loose myself and that's not just because of the bond and the fact were mates but I truly believe whether I was a werewolf or not you would have always been my soulmate and we would have found our way to each other eventually which is why..." he reaches into his pocket and looks towards my dad who gives him a reassuring nod in return when I turn my head back I look to see Derek on one knee in front of me with a beautiful ring inside a box, I look down tears streaming down my face not believing this was real for a second. I choke on a sob before taking my hand and covering my mouth I go to say something but he beats me too it

"I know this isn't very romantic or extravagant like I wanted it to be but I thought there was no better time to ask you then with our family present so Mieczyslaw Stilinski will you make me even happier then I already am with you and marry me?" he says looking really nervous and a couple of teas had fallen down his face he starts looking even more nervous when I don't say anything for a while he starts saying my name when I just scream and throw myself at him

"YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!" I say kissing him over and over again I'm about to deepen the kiss when I hear clapping behind us and I quickly remember that our whole packs here and I blush before looking towards them there all crying and look just as shocked as I did except for my dad and Scott. I smile as Derek puts the ring on my finger and brings me in for a kiss before we sat back down and I look to my family and just smile

"Well congratulation Mr and Mr Hale" my dad says before we all dug into our dinner and for a moment everything was good everyone was happy... well that was until there was a knock at the door, everyone just went silent before the knocking continued continuously there was a deafening silence in the room other then the pounding at the door finally Derek got up to get the door with the rest of the pack following behind me at the very back for extra protection, he inches to the door handle and counts to three before pulling it open to reveal a very bloody and beaten up Malia.

"Malia!" Lydia shouts as we look at the state of her

"Hi guys" she huffs out and with that she passed out into Derek's arms

I have a feeling that things are about to get real bad but I keep that comment to myself before rushing off to grab some things for Malia and with each step my stomach just filled with more and more dread.
