"I know, I have your number, remember?" I replied sarcastically.

"I called to ask if you would like to have dinner with me." He replied.

What!

"Ummm...." I didn't know what to say.

"I mean not just me, I meant us. Me and Cole. And not just you, you and Mia and call Andy too." He stammered while correcting himself once he realized what he had said.

I chuckled at his nervousness.

"Wait a sec, I'll ask Mia and let you know."

"Mia...Mia... Adrian's on the line, would you like to meet up for dinner, he's asking."

"Yeah sure, but I am craving Chinese today. If that's okay with him then say yes." Mia shouted from her room.

"Mia wants to have Chinese, is it okay with you all?" I spoke on the phone.

"Chinese works. Ask Mia where she would like to dine and text us."

"Cool I will text you. Will you call Leslie, I will call Andy?"

"Cole already spoke with her. She's in."

"Cool then. Meet you soon."

"Yes. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up.

Mia was on her laptop when I went to her room "Mia, you need to decide and then text the others where we are meeting."

"Okay." She said, barely taking her eyes off the screen.

"I am tired. I'll just take a power nap before dinner. Wake me up in by 8 okay?"

"Yeah cool."

Mia had decided on a local Chinese joint which was popular among the college crowd here. It was called 'Wok on Fire'. It wasn't an upscale place but it was cute and they served vegetarian too. I applauded Mia's choice of restaurants, not that mine was bad but even hers wasn't bad. The smell of spices welcomed us. We were the first ones to make it to the restaurant followed by Andy and Leslie and finally Cole and Adrian.

We claimed one of the empty tables. I sat between Andy and Adrian. The menu was limited so we decided to try the most popular dishes suggested by our connoisseur, Zomato. I wouldn't be able to complete an entire meal so I decided to share with Andy. Andy was my to-go person who happily shared vegetarian cuisine with me. He never made jabs at me for being vegetarian. We ordered Singapore noodles, dimsums and a cold drink to share. Cole took everyone's orders and stood at the counter to collect tokens for the orders. We were supposed to self-serve at this place. He bought us some mineral water and sat down.

"I am already salivating from the smell." Mia raved.

"Me too. I can't wait." Adrian joined her.

"Let's go for some dessert after dinner. There's an ice-cream parlor right next to this joint." Leslie suggested.

Everyone agreed with her.

Our tokens were called out in sometime and we stood up to receive our respective orders. That was undoubtedly one of the best Chinese I had ever had. I moaned at the flavor of the noodles dancing on my tongue. Yum. All of it was foodgasm worthy. Thankfully I hadn't forgotten to click pictures for my Instagram. Aurelia is going to drool when she sees this so I even slid the pictures into her DM. Mean; I know it was, but she had been doing that to me for the past two years now. It was my chance to seek revenge and redeem myself.

"Girls can't ever enjoy food without snapping and telling the entire world, can they?" Adrian accused me playfully when I asked him to move his elbow from my camera view to capture a better angle.
