I woke up to a really nasty hangover and a stinky breath. I must have been excessively drunk yesterday yet I faintly remember dancing with a guy who got inappropriately touchy with me for which he was tackled down by Adrian. It felt dirty to recollect those moments. What could have happened if Adrian hadn't jumped in at the right time? That thought devastated me. It made me cringe and impelled me to wash away the remains of yesterday. I looked at myself in the mirror and regretted that immediately. She was someone I couldn't recognize at all. My eye make-up was smudged and my hair made me look like a witch, even my lipstick was half worn off. A pang of discomfort made my conscience hurt. Not wanting to suffer for another second, I ran into the shower. A warm thorough shower would cleanse the sins of yesterday.

I dried my hair with a towel and decked up for the day. I checked my phone. It was already 11 am. I walked into Mia's room to check up on her.

I wasn't prepared for the sight that welcomed me into her room. I was stunned to find Adrian lying on her bed, without a shirt. Shit! I went on my heels and quickly exited the room making sure that I don't wake him up.

I couldn't unsee what I saw in there. Oh boy! Thankfully Adrian was sleeping on his back but I didn't miss the long scar right in the middle of his spine and a tattoo adorning the left side. Let's just say that the tattoo made him ten times hotter for me. However, that scar reminded me of his past sufferings and that he was still the same guy whose wounds I had mended in the 10th grade.

I made coffee and some sandwiches for the both of us. That image of his body kept playing in my mind. I was having a hard time refraining to have a look at it again. I sat on the couch sipping my coffee. A while later, Mia's door creaked open and Adrian emerged from her room; fully clothed this time, much to my disappointment.

"Good Morning Adrian." I greeted him.

"Good Morning."

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yes. What about you? Did you sleep well?.......... How's the hangover?"

"It's okay now. I had some dark coffee."

"Good"

"Adrian listen, thank you for looking out for me yesterday. I know I shouldn't have gotten so drunk."

"Ginna, you do realize what could have happened last night right?"

I cringed at that thought.

"Yes, I do. I got lucky that you appeared at the right time. I don't know how to thank you enough."

"Ginna, how could you be so irresponsible?"

"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to try how it feels to get drunk. You know, I have never had more than a sip until yesterday."

"So you get drunk at the first chance you get?"

"Something like that. But now I have decided to never get so drunk and tipsy again.", I confessed.

"Good for you", he replied.

"Where's Mia? Why wasn't she here yesterday?" I tried to divert the topic.

"She is crashing over at mine with Cole." Hmmmm.....Interesting...

"Are you thinking what I am thinking right now?"

"Depends on what you are thinking... Ginna?" He poured himself some coffee and sat beside me on the couch.

"That maybe they might have hooked up yesterday."

"That they did 'cause Cole texted me not to come home last night."

"oooooooohhhh.... Then they definitely did."
