Nathalie kept an eye on the children as Gabriel went to work in his office. Like him, Nathalie had a suspicion about the children as well. Hugo and Emma not only hold similar features to the Agreste family, but it was almost as if Hugo was suffering similar effects to Emilie Agreste. Was it possible that the miraculous of the hummingbird was broken somehow? The only way to know for sure is to get ahold of it.

As she studied Hugo carefully, she already knew for a fact that he was not the holder of that miraculous. Emma was clearly the holder between the two, but that only leaves one more hero from Team Ladybug. This boy is most likely the new hero Dragonfire, and if this is true, he may know the true identities of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Hugo Agre may hold all the answers that Mr. Agreste has been searching for. Of course Nathalie knew that Mr. Agreste planned to watch them, but what if he takes it a step further. After all, the easiest way of keeping an eye on Adrien was keeping him busy. Maybe Mr. Agreste could do something similar since the plan failed with Lila Rossi.

As the time passed, Adrien and Emma returned to the mansion with smiles on their faces. Emma had the opportunity to take a few pictures with Adrien for a shoot and she loved it. Adrien, of course, was just happy to have her there by his side. He finally had the chance to spend time with his future daughter, to learn more about her.

However, as soon as Emma met Hugo's gaze, the little girl didn't hesitate to hide behind her father. After all, she knew how angry Hugo would be with her when he found her, but now that it was happening, she couldn't help but look towards Adrien for help.

"Emma, what were you thinking!?" Hugo asked her as he crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for an explanation. Emma knew better than to pull off a stunt like this. If they were back home, both children knew that Adrien and Marinette would have never let that happen. "Do you know how dangerous it could have been for you? Don't do that again!"

Adrien looked down at Emma as she held onto his shirt with an awkward smile. Overall, the last time he had done something like this, it was Christmas. He couldn't help but feel lonely due to the fact that his father is usually always pretty busy, and although Nathalie can try, she can't fill that space inside him. He also didn't feel comfortable talking to his friends about it since he wouldn't feel comfortable interrupting their family time in the holidays.

"Emma, Hugo's right in this case. You really shouldn't have done that on your own, especially when it was so late outside." Adrien then looked over at Hugo before saying, "but I've already talked to her about it, Hugo, so please go easy on her. She promises she won't do it again. Right, Emma?"

"I'm sorry! Please, don't be mad at me, Hugo." Emma then looked over at Luka as Juleka stepped closer to her. Luka placed his hand on Hugo's shoulder, understanding how he felt, but couldn't help but smile. "I really won't do it again."

Hugo looked over at both Adrien then Luka as Emma moved over to Juleka. Both of the other boys couldn't help but let out a laugh before Hugo ended up joining in. Was he really that mad at her for doing what she did? No. Not really.

Emma was always daddy's little girl after all. Whenever she had a problem, she always ran to Adrien. Their mother always thought it was cute of her to act that way, but never took any offense to it. After all, it always made her smile to see Adrien so happy being a father. Anyone could see it how proud both of them were for their children.

Although he knew they would have to go back soon, Hugo had a guess as to why she did it. They both know that Adrien and Marinette are not the same parents they remember. Both of the teens are still very young and inexperienced in parenting their kids. Sure, Marinette has babysitting experience but it's different from handling your own kid. Emma must have wanted to tell them something before they leave back to the future.
