Emma knew that something was wrong the very moment a cloud of red butterflies filled the sky. Although she knew it was important not to be afraid, watching all around as her friends huddled close to their parents. Mothers and fathers holding their young children tightly, wanting to protect them from the akumas all around, and yet, there she was. Alone. There was no one there to hold her, to protect her. Emma kept waiting for someone to come for her, but the longer she waited, the more she realized that no one was coming. Her mom and dad had to fight Hawkmoth and stop this mess, but her brother... She couldn't help but wonder where was he. He was supposed to watch her and protect her, but Hugo wasn't there.

"Mommy. Daddy." Emma called out to herself as she hid in her school's restroom. Honey was with her, trying to comfort the poor child with little luck. "Honey, I'm scared. I want my mom and dad. I want Hugo."

Honey watched with a frown as a tear slid down Emma's cheek before landing on her hands. "Everything is going to be okay, Emma. Ladybug and Cat Noir are going to fix this entire mess and then you will be able to see your mom and dad. The important thing right now is to believe in them. You can't let your negative emotions control you."

Emma tried to clear her tears away as she wrapped her arms around her legs, making herself as small as she could. She wished she had gone with her friends Ella and Etta when their older sister came around, but she chose to wait. She thought her brother was coming for her, but she didn't think so anymore.

"I'm trying, Honey. I know Ladybug and Cat Noir can beat him, but I'm scared. I just don't want to be alone. Hugo is always with his friends now and I love our family here, but I want to go home. I miss my mommy and daddy." Emma couldn't help but cry now as Honey gave her a hug.

Little did they know, an akuma found its way into the restroom, watching the child with great interest yet not moving near her.

"Don't be bemused, it's just the news! Thank you for joining us for this very special program. You will have the chance to witness the victory of our great leader, Scarlet Moth!" Prime Queen says, taking over every channel she could to share their victory. Those who still believed in Ladybug and Cat Noir needed to see how badly their precious heroes have lost. They were greatly outnumbered and have no way of winning now.

All around, the only thing people could hear were the same three words being chanted throughout the streets of Paris. "Hail Scarlet Moth! Hail Scarlet Moth! Hail Scarlet Moth!" Akumatised victims proudly repeated this chant, breaking what little faith people still had in their heroes.

"Today shall be known as... Villains Day!"

Catalyst couldn't help but feel proud as she looks over at Scarlet Moth, knowing it was a perfect time. Everything was in its place just like Scarlet Moth needed. Paris's faith and trust in Ladybug were at an all-time low. It was perfect. "It's time, Scarlet Moth."

Back at the Effiel tower, the akuamtized villains continued their chant, only stopping when Scarlet Moth raised his cane. Looking out into the crowd, he knew that the young heroes were watching him somewhere nearby. He knew that the heroes had to have been feeling the pressure of defeating everyone he's ever akumatized once again. However, before they had the benefit of fighting one at a time, now they have to handle everyone all together. Not only that, but there was one child in particular that he could always use if things start to go wrong.

"Ladybug. Cat Noir. I can feel your close presence. If you want to save Paris and all its people, I'll give you one last chance. Give yourselves up and bring me your Miraculous!" He shouted out, knowing the heroes could hear his demands.

Palais de Chaillot rooftop.

Cat Noir looked over at Ladybug after hearing Scarlet Moth's demands, curious to know if she came up with some sort of plan. The villains are all getting worked up, believing they have won, but were ready to fight them at a moment's notice. "Penny for your thoughts, M'lady?" he asked her.
