Mrs. Lawrence didn't come soon from 'the den'. The next class was Literature.
" Mr. D'souz has asked me to inform you that police will be here for investigation by afternoon, so students this will be your last class today", said Ms. Rebecca and grabbed her book to teach.
Ms. Rebecca continued with her poetry. All the students had queries going on in their heads; not from the topic Ms. Rebecca was teaching, but about Krist. Lily had countless emotions inside her but didn't express even a fragment of it externally. Techna moved into daydreaming, today it was about Krist. Lily gleaned words Ms. Rebecca taught but her mind drifted like a cloud in the endless sky. Nance tried hard to concentrate but managed to make out the meaning of the poetry Ms. Rebecca was reciting.
Somehow literature got over and Ms. Rebecca left. The students too started leaving. Lily put the books in her bag and looked at the empty seats around. The three of them left the class. They walked through the corridor to the front gate. Lily recollected the events on the day she first met Krist; in front of the security room. Lily walked by the door. Why was Lily feeling so desperate? After all, Krist was just 'a stranger', 'a thief', 'a coward', 'a liar'. She kept asking herself all such questions.
They got out of the school building. Mr. D'zous was standing near the front gate. He saw them heading towards the gate. He watched them as if he wanted to ask them something.
Lily, Techna, and Nance stopped in front of him. Just as they anticipated Mr. D'souz smiled and asked, " Do you think it was Krist who tried to break in? Does he look similar in appearance ?"
Lily turned despondent, Techna freaked out and Nance bit her lips out of anxiety.
Finally, Lily gathered some courage and said, " No sir .. the man was much taller than Krist."
Lily tried to put on an innocent face.
"Yes sir .. tall", said Techna. Nance nodded in agreement.
"Ok, you may leave now", Mr. D'souz gave them an appealing smile and left.
The three hurried to get out of the school.
The sky was gloomy and the weather was cool. Just after Lily, Nance, and Techna crossed over the street, they saw the police cars heading in the direction of the school.
" Where did Krist disappear off to?", asked Nance turning to face Lily.
"How do I know Nance ?.. stop looking at me as if I know everything about him ", Lily's eyes filled up.
"I .. didn't .. Lil I'm sorry, I was just asking ", Nance said.
" I don't know where he went, but we'll find out ", Lily said clearing her voice.
"What go after him... to Citadelbay? ", Techna asked.
"Yes, hope you two will join me", Lily said with downcast.
" You think we'll leave you alone to Citadelbay?", asked Nance with a raised eyebrow.
Lily laughed and said, "No, you guys never leave me alone."
The three walked back to their homes. On the way they discussed how they'll get to Citadelbay. It is a coastal town situated fifteen miles from Pentaville. One could take the town-town bus to get there; it will take about thirty to forty minutes to reach. The next day was a weekend and it is the best opportunity they'll ever get for their expedition to find Krist. More than finding Krist their expedition was to find the truth and possibly the 'Warrior's Cup'. They had their plans set.

" Lily come, have dinner", screamed aunt Roslina so that she could be hard in the attic where Lily was busy planning for tomorrow.
Lily had mentioned to aunt that she'll be going out with her friends this weekend and hope aunt didn't forget about it. Lily went downstairs, she saw uncle sitting at the head of the table and he didn't look happy.
"Hey Lil, classes were over early ?", asked Mr. Andrew.
"Yes, the police had to do some investigation. The man that claimed to be Head P.O was a scam, wasn't he?", asked Lily.
" Yah", uncle said with a sigh; " He looked so convincing, he even had fake documents and an appointment letter signed by officials", said uncle looking at Roslina and nodded his head.
" Do you doubt he is the one behind the robbery that took place at Lil's school?", questioned Roslina.
" He might be, he did look nervous when he was in the Office, but we considered it was just the struggle of moving into a new place."
" The boy who claimed to be his son too is gone ", said Mr. Andrew.
Lily lifted her head and wondered if he was going to say any more about Krist.
" Uncle, tomorrow I'll be hanging out with my friends", said Lily hoping he wouldn't say 'no'.
" Ok Lil, be careful and call us if you need any help", he said.
" Sure, I'll".
Lily finished her food and left for her room. She took her mobile and messaged Techna and Nance: ' Tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in front of my house.'
Rest they had planned earlier. Lily placed her backpack on the table, put her phone in charge, and turned off the lights. She gazed out through her attic window, the moon was not there; her eyes searched for it; the clouds hovered in the dark sky. She pondered about Krist and a glimpse of hope appeared in her. The only thing that made Lily go after Krist was her feeling that Krist was doing good, she had faith in him.
