Chapter 7

" I'm going to miss you." Peter said, as we landed in the alleyway across the street from the park, where Thor and Loki would using the power of the Tesseract to get back. It had taken some convincing, but Thor had finally relented in allowing me to go with them. I wasn't sure why I needed to go, but Sam seemed very certain that it was important that I did.

" I'll be back before you know it." I told Peter, as we started across the street, but he paused his eyes widening when he saw Tony on the bridge. " Oh...Oh my god, that's.... that's Tony Stark." He said, his voice going up an octave, and I placed my hands on his shoulders.

" Breath. Your going to pass out." I said, and he sucked in a breath, making me roll my eyes. My best friend was such a fanboy. " I swear, I can't take you anywhere." I muttered shaking my head, moving toward the bridge, but as Peter went to follow, an agent moved to block him, making him frown. " Bye, Pete." I waved, and he looked back at me with a smile. " I swear, you have all the fun."

" Make it up to you." I called out, backing away.

" Movie marathon, my choice this time." He said, and I thought about it for a moment before shaking my head." Nah." I disagreed, before rushing off.

" Alice." He complained,

" Boyfriend?" Stark teased, as I walked up, looking at where Peter still stood, but when he caught Tony looking, his face burned red and he disappeared back across the street. " Best friend." I corrected with a smile, my eyes searching the rooftops, and Tony frowned. I walked over to Thor, who raised an eyebrow. " Are you positive? It could be awhile before your able to return."

" I'm sure." I responded, and he nodded before facing his brother, who stared at me in confusion. Thor held up the device that held the Tesseract, and Loki grabbed the other side while I wrapped my arms tightly around Thor's arm, as instructed, and squeezed my eyes shut as my feet momentarily left the ground, before being dropped back down, managing not to fall over.

When I opened my eyes, we were standing in a domed room with a raised platform, where a dark skinned man in gold armor stood with a sword, his golden eyes gleaming

" Alicia Stevens, Welcome to Asgard."
