~Shooting Lessons - Hyuga Junpei~

"Hey, Hyu-."

"Junpei."

"I'm used to calling you 'Hyuga'," you replied, making him sweat drop. "Anyway, can you teach me to shoot?" You asked.

"Huh?"

"Teach me to shoot," you repeated.

"Uh, sure. When?" He asked you.

"Right now. C'mon, let's go to the gym," you said and grabbed his wrist, making him blush.

The two of you entered the gym and found no-one there, since training was canceled for some reason.

You looked at Hyuga and he understood what you meant. He walked over to the basketball equipment and took a basketball.

"Okay, so what?" You asked him.

"Uh, I'll just show you how I shoot first," Hyuga said and positioned himself.

You watched him adjust himself with the ball and he shot. You smiled at the thought of something, but shook your head.

"He's probably with Riko-chan and anyway, there's no way he'll love someone like me," you sighed at the thought.

"Hey, (First Name), were you watching?" Hyuga questioned you.

"Uh, sorry, I didn't get it. Show me once more, please," you replied.

Hyuga nodded and loosened his shoulders. He shot the ball perfectly and got it in with a swish.

"Nothing, but net," you said mentally.

"Now come here," he ordered and you complied. "Here," and he gave you the ball. "Show me how you shoot."

"I don't know how to shoot," you said.

"Just show me how you shoot," Hyuga repeated.

You recalled back to how he shot, so you loosened your shoulders and shot the ball and you got an airball.

The ball wasn't even close to the ring and you turned to face the megane and laughed nervously.

"Don't worry, you'll get better," he said and you nodded and Hyuga ran to the ball.

He came back and was now holding two balls.

"Uh, so when did you started playing basketball?" You asked.

"I started playing basketball in middle school with Izuki. Why?" He replied.

"Ah, I was just asking," you answered.

"Anyway, here," he said and you took the ball.

"Alright, so put your hand out like this with the ball in your palm..."

You did as you were told.

"Now hold the ball just above your head, but in front of your face while the other hand supports it on the side..."

You complied and held your position.

"When you shoot, make sure the ball gets released from your fingertips," Hyuga said, giving you a tip.

You nodded in response.

"And make sure you're elbow is about a 90° angle," he added. "Make sure your shoulders aren't stiff, too and release the ball like this."

The clutch shooter released the ball and got it in, getting a swish.

You looked at him and he nodded. You did all the things he said to do and released the ball from you fingertips.
